Q: Are these waterproof ?

submitted by WINDY17 - 1 year ago
  • A: Hi there, EarPlanes are not waterproof. If you would like to clean them, we suggest using a damp cloth to wipe the *exterior only*. Moisture will effect the filter's performance.

Q: Can a pair be used more than once? How many times can one pair be used?

submitted by Carol - 1 year ago
  • A: It is recommended that you replace them after 2-3 round trips. This will ensure the filter is clean and free from obstructions like dust, air particles, and other pollutants.

Q: Does these earplugs block loud noises when I sleep at home?

submitted by Bigsip7979 - 4 years ago
  • A: Hi Bigsip, they do have noise-reducing qualities and some users enjoy them for sleeping, but other variations made from foam or silicone are something to consider.

Q: Other ear plugs are too large and uncomfortable for my ears. Are these smaller and narrower? Can they block out loud noises at home when I'm trying to sleep?

submitted by Tarzhay - 4 years ago
  • A: Hello! We would perhaps recommend the EarPlanes "for smaller ears/children." And Cirrus Healthcare Products, makers of EarPlanes, does offer a money back guarantee, so keep your receipt and we could always arrange to send you the other size! Have a good day.

These are a go to travel item for me anytime I’m flying on a plane. I experience a lot of pain and discomfort in my ears on flights without them so now I use them each and every time. Highly recommend! Great product and well worth the price.

Very disappointed customer

Hopefully, the product will work as they have in the past; however, the cost at Target was $8.99 as opposed to Amazon that sells the same product for $7.29. That’s disappointing!

I have problems with my left sinuses due to an accident I had as a child; landing on a plane can get incredibly painful for me but I love to travel. I came across these back in 2009 and I haven't looked back. I take these on every trip. I have backups all over my home just in case. These are such a lifesaver for travel for me. Placing them does make a difference and I find that in smaller cabins it isn't as effective. But that's just something you need to keep in mind and make adjustments to. Finding the right way to place them takes some time and if you're in a rush you're likely to mess up. I typically put them in right before we start boarding and I don't remove them until I land. It minimizes my landing pain by 100%. I'm so thankful I came across these!

I wore Earplanes on short flights and long flights to & from Europe. It was tricky to get them in my ears. They feel how you would imagine (odd). But, they made a world of difference for me! I had small twinges of pain sometimes. But, in the past, I suffered a lot of ear pain on flights. I won't fly again without Earplanes.

After experiencing severe pain in my ears during a flight from NY to Florida a few years back I started using Earplanes and never have experienced that again. I fly 2-3 times a year and I replace them after each round trip flight. Sometimes it’s a struggle to have it stay in place so but it does eventually stay put. I remover during the flight after reaching 10,000 feet, and put back in when approaching the same 10,000 feet before landing. I never want you to experience that pain again.

These work great and so does the sister product, WeatherX for my migraines. Who knew some tiny ear filters could be game changers for reducing ear pain and headaches! I’ve found with both products, you’ll get them into the right spot in your ear better if you pull your ear back a bit while putting them in. Love Ear Planes and WeatherX!

Had to fly with a sinus infection which was causing issues with my ears not draining so I got these to hopefully negate any issues with my ears popping. They worked perfectly both legs of my journey. Since I have issues “popping” my ears, i’ll be sure to keep a pair of these with me when I plan to have air travel. They are worth every cent! My husband suffered from the same illness I did, and he found that they worked for him. So glad I looked into this and found, these amazing earplugs!

My husband and I were flying out with headcolds and I always have a problem with my ears even without a cold. I put them in on takeoff and left them in the whole flight. I had a little pressure descending but not as much as I think it would have been without the earplugs. I would recommend them for anyone who has a problem with their ears when flying.

I can't believe how well these work. I travel a lot for work. I used to have sever pain on my ears from flying that would last over a day after I landed. Putting these in before the plane starts to descend takes away 99% of the pain. Also, they can be used more than once. I've had the same pair for 4 years and flew enough to earn airline status reach year. Just flick any earwax out of them when you're done

Helped me to avoid ear infections! Miracle! If you have sensitive ears and get ear infection or pain on flights, you NEED these!! It’s not a gimmick. I flew 8 times in 2 months and no ear pain. I would give these 1000 stars if I could.

Amazing for sensitive ears. I also get the kids size for my kid. We don’t fly without them. And our ears never hurt anymore. The phone app helps you track when to take them off too.

I was definitely skeptical at first because I have had two inner ear surgeries and before when descending on the plane my ears were in so much pain. I cried, stomped my feet and felt like my head was about to explode. After using these earplanes on two flights now, I’ve had no issues! I do still chew gum along with wearing these, but I highly recommend trying these out! I wore them when ascending and descending. I took them out when the Earplanes app stated to do so. I’m happy with my purchase!
