Q: Does these earplugs block loud noises when I sleep at home?

submitted by Bigsip7979 - 2 years ago
  • A: Hi Bigsip, they do have noise-reducing qualities and some users enjoy them for sleeping, but other variations made from foam or silicone are something to consider.

Q: Other ear plugs are too large and uncomfortable for my ears. Are these smaller and narrower? Can they block out loud noises at home when I'm trying to sleep?

submitted by Tarzhay - 3 years ago
  • A: Hello! We would perhaps recommend the EarPlanes "for smaller ears/children." And Cirrus Healthcare Products, makers of EarPlanes, does offer a money back guarantee, so keep your receipt and we could always arrange to send you the other size! Have a good day.

I can't believe how well these work. I travel a lot for work. I used to have sever pain on my ears from flying that would last over a day after I landed. Putting these in before the plane starts to descend takes away 99% of the pain. Also, they can be used more than once. I've had the same pair for 4 years and flew enough to earn airline status reach year. Just flick any earwax out of them when you're done

Helped me to avoid ear infections! Miracle! If you have sensitive ears and get ear infection or pain on flights, you NEED these!! It’s not a gimmick. I flew 8 times in 2 months and no ear pain. I would give these 1000 stars if I could.

Amazing for sensitive ears. I also get the kids size for my kid. We don’t fly without them. And our ears never hurt anymore. The phone app helps you track when to take them off too.

I was definitely skeptical at first because I have had two inner ear surgeries and before when descending on the plane my ears were in so much pain. I cried, stomped my feet and felt like my head was about to explode. After using these earplanes on two flights now, I’ve had no issues! I do still chew gum along with wearing these, but I highly recommend trying these out! I wore them when ascending and descending. I took them out when the Earplanes app stated to do so. I’m happy with my purchase!

These helped tremendously for my ears. The first time I ever flew was to NY and I thought my ears were going to burst with the amount of pressure. My next time flying was to Colorado and I heard these worked for other people. My ears never popped once while I had these in. I also wore them riding up the mountain to a town 2 hours away and my ears were fine

Due to some bad ear infections, I experience horrible pain when flying and it takes days after landing for my bad ear to clear. I wore these for the duration of a short flight and was so impressed. I still experienced some pain during takeoff but my ears equalized so much faster! I will definitely be using these for all my flights now. My only complaint is that they are only good for a couple uses.

Pressure is so much less and cancels enough noise you can’t hear announcers. I landed 3 times and was golden and could be more comfortable but doable

Wore these for a concert (in the pit, front row) and they were great! Didn’t slip out, comfortable, and reduced the noise to a level where it was very manageable but still enjoyable!

These things are a straight-up miracle. I have always had problems getting my ears to equalize on flights, to the point that one of my eardrums perforated during descent a few years ago. I love to travel but have been terrified of that happening again, as it was one of the most painful things I've experienced in my life. I have seen multiple doctors in the course of dealing with this problem and not one of them told me about these earplugs as an option, which I am quite frustrated about in retrospect. Thank goodness a friend of mine at work mentioned them. I tried on them on a flight this week, and not once did I ever even have to "pop" my ears - they just stayed equalized the entire time. I only wish I knew about them sooner. I plan to stock up on more and will never, ever fly without them again. TLDR: I "would recommend this item" to say the least LOL

Can I Give These A Million Stars??

I had sinus surgery 5 years ago, and ever since then flying has been incredibly painful during descent. Crushing, terrible, “my brain is going to implode” pain. I have had to learn to fly with Sudafed, Afrin, and Klonopin just to get through flights. I forgot my Sudafed on a flight out the other day, and I had one of the worst episodes yet during descent. When I landed, I immediately began searching for ANYTHING that could be better than tons of medication. Low and behold: EARPLANES. I had NEVER heard of these. How could $8 earplug filters possibly be the answer to my prayers? Well, friends, I would have paid quadruple for these tiny miracles. Not ONE SINGLE OUNCE OF PAIN. NOT. ONE. These were handcrafted in heaven and sent down to earth specifically for me, of this I am certain. THANK YOU FOR SAVING ME MANY FUTURE FLIGHTS OF PAIN THAT MAKES MY LIFE FLASH BEFORE MY EYES!!! Buy these. Don’t even question it. 8 MILLION STARS.

I was terrrified to fly because I had a slight sinus infection and had experienced painful flights in the past. But my mom found EarPlanes for me and so I decided to give them a try. We both thought the product would be a gimmick, but it ended up affording me a PAINLESS flight with minimal ear popping and pressure. This product REALLY works. They do an excellent job of equalizing pressure in your ears, especially during the descent, which I find to be the most painful part of the flight. I can't overstate how grateful I am that this product exists. Thank you Lord for this product -- and thank you to the people who make it!

I was skeptical but decided to try. They were so wonderful. Very little pressure on my ears that was relieved after an hour. Usually would take me 2 days just in time to fly home. I will use them again. Thank you.

I was trying to find a solution to my earache problems when flying and have found the solution! I was skeptical at first but these did the job. It is important to put them in before taking off and leave them in 15 minutes after the plane reaches cruising altitude and the again before descending and leave in 15 minutes after landing.
