Q: This scrub is made up entirely of polyurethane foam which usually has a toxin associated with neuro-behavioral alterations, hyperactivity and behavioral problem...
A: Thank you for your inquiry. The Earth Therapeutics Exfoliating Body Sponge is made with Coarse Polyurethane Foam, which is used in many skin care products, and no harmful additives. No studies have linked neuro-behavioral alterations, hyperactivity, or other behavioral issues to the foam’s consumer use without the additional presence of specific chemical flame-retardants, which we do not use. We hope we have answered your question and are happy to answer any additional ones you may have.

Q: How well does it dry? Does the sponge portion get moldy and have to be bleached?
A: Sponge should be rinsed with water thoroughly and hang to dry in a dry area after each use. Sponge should dry appropriately and not get moldy if it is dried properly as directed. If mold grows, throw away. We do not recommend using bleach on the sponge.

Q: Can it be used everyday?
A: Even though this bath sponge is gentle on the skin, we do not recommend using the sponge everyday but to give time for skin regeneration after use. Each user should determine the frequency of use based upon their skin sensitivity. If skin is more on the sensitive side, sponge should be used less frequently.
