I WFH and keep Meati on hand to toss in the oven for a quick lunch. 15 mins at 400 + five minutes to rest and you've got the perfect crispy protein to throw in a sandwich or top a salad with. Great texture. The steaks are also awesome.

I've been plant-based for almost 35 years. I can't eat wheat or gluten, and soy products seriously upset my stomach. Although I dislike mushrooms with a passion, I was desperate for Thanksgiving protein item. All other plant-based "chicken" have wheat, soy, milk, or eggs. Although these do have a unique after-taste, the protein and texture can't be matched. I cook them in the air fryer and they always turn out great. They are pricey, but worth it.

Overall, I think this is a great product! By far, the best texture I've seen in vegan "chicken," and an allergy friendly option for me, personally. However, after abstaining from meat for the past 6+ years, I just couldn't bring myself to eat it. A little too realistic in taste and texture (almost like dark-meat chicken). BUT if that's what you're looking for - I encourage you to give it a try!

I really wanted to like these. They have a weird, fishy taste to them that I just didn’t enjoy. If you’re looking for a good chicken substitute try the grilled chicken one.

I followed. The exact instructions on 3 different packages on how to cook these in an air fryer.And they always came out cold in the middle. Then when you put them in the oven or the microwave to finish cooking them they just ended up becoming pretty much tasteless. There have got to be better options.

I like how the texture is very meat like! I used an air frier for my salad since going vegetarian this has helped fight off those cravings we sometimes get and my goodnes if you didn't know it wasn't meat you'd be surprised! It's so good!

I know it's supposed to be a chicken substitute but this tastes like what I remember pork chops tasting like. It's a thick cut, extremely filling and flavorful. Cooks great in the airfryer and has the perfect crispy texture. I buy these whenever I can. Crispy is my favorite. I've tried the steak ones too but don't like them as much. Those are a bit mushy to me.

I’ve gotta be honest, I’m highly invested in vegan options staying on the market so I really don’t like leaving bad reviews. The texture of these is dead on, albeit even a little tough for my preferred texture of fake (or even real, years ago) meat. However, the taste is not there for me. I don’t know if it’s the seasoning in the breading or the flavor of the chicken itself, but I found it really hard to mask. Just kinda funky. I couldn’t even finish one of them. Maybe it would be better in a different recipe.

These were absolutely delicious! I have been a vegetarian for over 20 years and don't really seek out meat alternative foods a lot but these were so good! They tasted just like chicken, the breading was great, and I love that they're primarily made of mushroom instead of isolated protein sources.

Long time non-meat eater here and this almost tasted like KFC! I enjoyed the flavor of it overall. The inside was a little gummy/chewy because the slice is pretty thick. I cut mine down the middle to thin it out while cooking. Would definitely buy again.
