Our grandkids love this game! It’s always the first one they run for when they visit. The 2-10 year olds can play together, and it keeps everyone’s attention. You spin for a color, then use the squirrel pincher/grabber to pick up your acorn and move it. It helps build their knowledge of colors as well as fine motor skills. The play is quick and accommodates a lot of ages for play.

    Great for preschool classroom!

The children in my preschool classroom love this game! I do wish that the game came with several extra acorns of each color because they can get lost easily. I play this game in my small group time so it's definitely supervised, but somehow we have misplaced several of the colors and cannot play the game anymore. Is there a way to get extra acorns?

Best first game ever! I bought it for a family with a 3 year old who came to visit to play with. He enjoyed it so much I gave it to them! Since, the game has been passed on to other littles within our group and all the toddlers and preschoolers Love playing it. Even the older kids enjoy playing if given a chance. I rhink it's on it's 4th home and will be passed on in another couple of years! We've purchased another game for a different group of friends' kids, and it is onl it's second home! We are planing on buying a third one next year for a new bactch of going on 3's. Best game ever! Pair it with the book! Littles love the story, too!

my daughter really likes this game but I have to help her out because the spinner does not work properly. The spinner always lands on the same spot or the one opposite it, so it's hard to complete the game unless I manually push it to another color...such a bummer because the rules are good and I like the squirrel tongs for fine motor skills.

My nephew wanted this for Christmas so I also got it for my son who is the same age (3). It was backordered for awhile so I recognized how popular it must be. Art direction is top notch. Cute box, cute designed pieces, but unfortunately it never got my son's attention. He never wants to play it and the concept is fairly similar to other games we have that he prefers. My son loves playing with games but sadly, not this one.

This has been a favorite game in our house since my oldest was two. We buy this for all of our friends kids as birthday gifts when they’re two or three. So cute, great to practice colors and fine motor. Quick game for little attention spans.

My 3 year old loves this game, especially when he lands the “sneaky squirrel”. Lots of giggles. We get to practice counting, color recognition, and hone in those fine motor skills using the squirrel squeezers. We also use the game for an opportunity help him understand turn taking. It’s all around a great game. Doesn’t take long to play one round and set up is simple. ⚠️ Acorn pieces are small and could be a choking hazard for little ones who put things in their mouth. ⚠️

This was a game I selected for my daughter after reading good reviews. While my daughter loves the game, the spinner does not spin. It gets stuck and won't spin. It's a poor design. This makes a fun game frustrating for all of us. The concept is great but it's hard to play without a functional spinner.
