About the Author

Marina Tsvietáieva (Moscú, 1892 - Yelábuga, Tartaristán, 1941) fue una poeta precoz, inclasificable, un espíritu libre que se negó a constreñir su arte a definición alguna. Vivió en Rusia hasta 1922, año en que se exilió, primero en Bohemia y luego en Francia. En 1939 volvió a la Unión Soviética, donde dos años más tarde, condenada al ostracismo, puso fin a su vida.
