As the other reviews stated, it is very firm/hard. With a pillow for back support, it is fairly comfortable but the seat is definitely hard with no give or “bounce” when you sit down. The chair is a very attractive, neutral piece for what you pay though.

I was shocked how hard the back of this chair is! Looks okay with ottoman so gave two stars you will need a pillow on the back area, which then makes chair too short unless your small or its for kids. Too hard and I like firmness, hard like a rock!! I was not pleased with feeling pain right after I sat down. Two stars because not a bad color and cute with ottoman. I may send back or order a cover. I am really disappointed because description was much better then what I got in my opinion. Why so stiff, harder then second class airplane seat and those are not too bad. Shockingly stiff and my back still hurts. I never left a review before, I am shocked!

This chair is not large but our living room is small as well. It is firm, so if you are looking for a chair to sink into this one is not for you. Personally, I like the firmness. The color is a light beige and I think would go well with any color scheme. Seems to be of sturdy construction. Would go great in a corner to fill an empty space. Very pleased so far!

This chair is beautiful and looks more expensive than it is. It is very easy to assemble (just need to screw the legs on). If you are planning this chair for everyday use, I would not recommend because it is quite hard. If you are looking for an accent chair that wouldn’t be used everyday, I think this is a beautiful and affordable option.

The chair is beautiful and easy to assemble! The only reason I am not giving the fifth star is it looks better than it feels. It’s almost too cushiony, where you can’t really get comfortable in it because you’re sitting very high up on then cushion.

I’m rating this chair and ottoman a 3 for looks and size. But this chair is SO hard. My husband described it as horrible!
I think this chair is fine for my guest room which is why I’m not sending it back. I’d think twice about using it in a high traffic area where comfort is required.

Chair is very stylish and helps to pull the room together, but I wish I would've been able to try it out in store or something (Not sold in stores) because it is SUPER uncomfortable. It has no give to it at all, and is not cushy anywhere. I wouldn't buy it again and may look to unload it.

I really like the look and color and how it fits in my room. I like that the chair is not oversized so doesn't take up too much space. The only thing I am not crazy about is that the padding on this chair is stiff. So I wouldn't consider this a comfy crazy chair.

I bought two of these for the sitting area in my master bedroom. They are perfect! The construction is sold and we only had to put the feet on. I love these!
