Awesome on guitar and bass, the Electro Harmonix Hot Waxfuses the Hot Tubes and Crayon pedals into one powerful dual-overdrive. It is areissue of the classic 1970s CMOS overdrive. Each section can be engagedindependently, for two very different overdrive flavors, or together to createa massive overdriven sound. The Hot Wax includes a two-knob EQ (Bass andTreble) for extensive tonal control, and a Blend control to mix between yourdry and distorted sound. These three controls are active with either or bothdistortion sections engaged and bypassed when both overdrive sections areturned off. It offers quiet pop-free foot switching. The Electro Harmonix HotWax comes with a power adapter.
