My cats loves this mouse toy

I’m very torn. I bought my cat the bee version of this toy in spring and he LOVEDDD it. It worked well with no issues for a long time. Suddenly one day it just stopped working. I bought new batteries and a second one which is this one. Well I’m not sure what happened but it only lasted about 10-15 minutes before the batteries died, unlike the first one I bought. I replaced the batteries for both of them and got a grand total of 5 minutes of play until they died again… I truly LOVE the concept of this toy but I can’t keep spending $5-10 on batteries every time the thing dies. I wish it was rechargeable instead. The batteries aren’t even sold in stores which is pretty annoying and inconvenient in itself. Please fix this toy!!!

absolute junk. Worked for 10 seconds then died. Replaced all of the batteries. Again: worked for 10 seconds… Died.

Garbage, broke 2 minutes after we opened it

I would rate 0 if I could! just spins in circles, not even that, sometimes doesn’t even move! Stopped working in less than 3 min of opening

My actual rating is 0 stars does not work! It spins and when it should go forward only did it for 4 minutes after that stopped working and only spins my cats didn’t even like the you at all. Is not worth $12.99 perhaps $1.99

My cat LOVED it……….for the 30 minutes it worked! It started off great, but after 30 minutes it would only move in circles, one of the wheels even stopped spinning (we even checked and there was nothing caught it any of the wheels)! It’s a brilliant idea for a cat toy, but brilliant ideas only work with brilliant execution!!

While my cat liked this it was not worth the price. The batteries died in one day, replacements were $5 and lasted two days of play even with turning it off when not using. By day 3 it had stopped going forwards or back, just started spinning in circles or turning in wider circles. Not a good value toy.

It worked for about 10 minutes before it gave out. I wish I read the reviews before I purchased it. My cat did like it while it worked but sadly I’m going to have to return it.

i’ve had this toy for about 7 months now, and had to replace the batteries once. you just have to make sure you turn it off after playing sessions. my cats always absolutely love this, it helps get out so much energy. The controlling is a little wonky, but that’s to be expected with a toy that’s cheap. The wheels haven’t stopped working or anything of those sorts like other reviews are saying. Sometimes it clicks into automatic mode, but I haven’t quite figured out how to leave it on automatic mode because it’s so much easier that way! if the seller can jump in here and let me know what triggers automatic mode, that would be very appreciated!

Worked well, at first. Despite changing batteries in both mouse and controller, the mouse only moves in circles. I don't recommend this product. Very disappointing.

Unfortunately as many have stated it just stopped working after a few minutes of use. My cats really liked it for those few minutes though. For the price I feel like the product should be more durable.

Poor design, as most reviews state. Bought it in store, so I wasn't able to read reviews but sure wish I had. My cat LOVED this toy, for the 10 minutes it worked. It eventually started only going in circles and now just barely limps. Batteries are not the issue. As someone else stated, any lint or pet hair jams the wheels, and you can't easily remove it. That said I removed everything with a needle nosed tweezers, and it STILL only limps in circles. Such a shame because it could have been great.
