Noticed my cats started vomiting up there food more often and my older cat started making these weird coughing noises. Spend hundreds of dollars at the vet. Decided to change their food. All cats are fine now. Same thing with our dogs. What is going on with Purina?

Horrible. I have been feeding my cats with this food for the past four months and they were fine until I started the last bag and one of my cats vomits every single day when he eats from the kibble. My other cat eats the food but occasionally, as he eats, he would jump and run away from the food bowl, like he ate something really bad tasting. I am looking for a different brand to start feeding my cats with.

This is the best cat food for my adult cat who constantly hacks up hairballs. She has very long fur so I tried the hairball formula and it didn’t seem like she was hacking up less hairballs. Switched to this and her hairball piles have been cut in half.

My cat has a sensitive stomach and im thinking this is the perfect dry food for him but every time he eats it he throws up. I feed him small portions and still make him throw up. I had to clean up the throw up literally everyday. I switched back to Indoor dry cat food and that one has not made him throw up not once! Which is weird.

The last bag I received smelled different from usual, similar to rancid oil. Now I’m learning of multiple reports of sick and deceased cats who ate this food the past couple months and the FDA is apparently investigating. I’m avoiding all Purina and Nestle pet foods until more is known.

We were feeding a different cat food for years. My cat had little bumps all over her from scratching and started vomiting. We switch to this and what a difference. No more bumps and her coat is silky smooth. I haven’t noticed any vomiting.

My 18yo & 12yo cats have been eating this all their lives & love it. Ordered & Target shipped a bag with an Exp date of May 2024. When I opened, it had a strong chemical smell which I thought was the plastic bag & the kibbles were dark brown mixed with tan (top of napkin in pic) unlike other bags of only tan (bottom of napkin in pic) but I thought maybe they changed the recipe. One cat wouldn't go near it & my other cat ate it 2 days in a row & vomited undigested piles all over both days. I ordered a new bag online. Had Exp date Nov 2024 & when I opened there was no odor & the kibbles were tan, no dk brown. My 18yo that wouldn't touch the bad food ate the new food right out of my hand & my 12yo ate her entire bowl today with no vomiting. Beware of the May 2024 Exp date or the dark brown mixed with tan kibble & chemical odor. I called & reported to Purina. I have been compensated for the bad bag.
