Q: this seems too good to be true. how are the viewing angles and contrast?

  • A: I purchased an Element TV about 16 years ago. This has been the best TV we ever owned!!! I purchased it thru a tv show selling them because they were not well known back then, but loved the idea of BUYING USA. This television has been one of the best purchases made in 20 years. At that time, the seller offered a sound bar and we have always had people talk about the beautiful screen and sound. Sometimes we think the sound is coming from another part of the room it is so good! I am disabled and this television has been ON for 24 hours on most days. It just finally, for the first time had a problem. We have Samsung, but this is the best tv we ever had. EVER. Will replace with another Element TV.

It does not have the clear picture at angles we had with older Element, not bad but not great. The soundbar is not there like our last one came with a built-in JVC. The sound is muffled and when we tried to use the SAME hanging unit, there was NO way to use it even with a bunch of variables. They were all just off enough that we cannot use the previous wall hanging unit, which was VERY expensive and is VERY nice. Also, the Roku controller does NOT have voice control or any of the other available items on most. Very disappointed. It works, but not like the Element brand I thought was part of our last Element TV. Cable controllers do not have access to the internet programs and Roku controller doesn't work cable. SO TIRED of having to have 2 controllers. Didn't have this issue before. Consider these issues when buying your new TV, I wish I had known to look for them.

Great roku tv! I bought this a year ago on sale and was worried based on poor reviews- but I’ve found it to be a great tv! My kids mostly use it to play Xbox and the graphics look great- it’s clear from all angles and the color appears true. Would definitely recommend and would buy again!

Broken after 5 months

I purchased this TV exactly 5 months ago, and have used it maybe 2-3 times a week for 2 hours tops. I have slowly noticed lines showing up in the picture, and today turned on the tv to see the bottom half completely blacked out. I saw all the negative reviews prior to buying but ignored them, so learn from my mistake and do not buy!

Lasted less than 1 year. Color blocks started showing on the screen and after following the instructions on the Elements web page the screen went to language and was frozen. Customer support didn't answer a call, live chat or email.

0 stars would not recommend! I have had tvs that last for years. This TV lasted for less than 2 years. Neither Target nor Element would do anything since I didn’t purchase the extra warranty.

Black Screen

After 9 months of use, we have a black screen when the TV turns on. There is still sound but no picture and after following all the troubleshooting online, it still is not fixed. We tried calling element and have not been able to get ahold of them. So frustrating. A TV should last much longer than this!

when I purchased this TV, it had an area along the top of the screen that looked like pressure was applied to it. The defect was there when I put the TV up, and I honestly didn't feel like bothering with it because it had already taken me so long to get it up on the wall. Now there are several areas with the same issue, and I can say with 1000% confidence that there is absolutely no way pressure was applied to any of the areas, nor was damage inflicted on the TV. NOT worth the buy.

Unable to sync the remote, I even purchased a new one, without which nothing else works. Unable to get support from Elements at all not via phone or email, no call back, nothing. Target technical support was excellent, after about 30 minutes it was determined the best action would be to return it. I will never buy this brand because of the lack of support.

Had this TV for about 10 months before the picture quality deteriorated, before the entire right side of the screen went black.
