ELEMIS Superfood Glow Priming Moisturiser 2 oz

Fabulous glow moisturiser for holidays.

I got a free deluxe sample with purchase and was excited to try after the glowing reviews. I don't have any skin issues particularly and rarely wear makeup so I thought it would be a great thing to add on to my daily moisturizer. I tried this on without moisturizer after cleansing, tried with moisturizer, under and over Elemis spf 30, tried applying with a cosmetic sponge and without. No matter what I do, you get streaks. It does look glowy but you can definitely tell that there are streaks of something on your face. So if you are artful with makeup and doing a photoshoot maybe it'll work, but for daily everyday casual use, it didn't work for me. I wore it once with makeup on a night out and I just looked like I was sweating up a storm (in the middle of winter).

I thought I would love this, & was so excited that it would be the perfect thing for someone like me who doesn’t wear any foundation nor much makeup- only mascara & brows. I can’t even say that it’s “ehh just ok”, because it’s useless. The color of the priming moisturizer is great, when you see it on your fingers before applying it & seems like it would blur my bare skin & imperfections, perfect for someone like me who has lots of sun spots, dark spots, & discolored blemishes, but doesn’t want to cake on foundation or concealer. It’s impossible to use because as soon as you try to apply it & rub it on your face, it pills up completely, leaving very tiny globs of the product all over your face. The glow color also streaks from where the tiny globs pill all over your face, leaving it sticky as well. It’s so bad that you have to entirely rinse your face off with water or use a wipe in order to remove it completely. I have tried several different times & used various application methods, but nothing changes the outcome. Very disappointed because it seems like it would be a good product, if only it would blend/sink into your skin like a normal moisturizer or primer is supposed to.

I wanted to like this but how can I stop the crumbling ?

I have normal skin and each time I have used a little on my face with or without moisturiser it crumbles, I would not waste your money

This product was great! It provides an excellent level of moisture with a really nice illuminating effect that brightens the skin all day. Highly recommend if you don’t want to wear foundation, but still want some light illumination to your face.

Love this product for when I don't feel like wearing make up but want glowing skin. This product does this excellently. Also nice to wear under make up.

Love it but it streaks.

Fabulous product! My mature skin really suffered with the high pollen count and intense heat. This lovely cream has restored it quickly and effectively.

I've actually been using this for years without knowing what it was. It was most likely expired, but it never broke me out and it worked great! I had to get more when I ran out! So dewy!

If you want the Glow, then this is the primer to use. Use it before your main foundation and you will be amazed. I absolutely love it xx

What is not to like about Elemis. Even their face cloth is fabulous and soft to the skin. This priming cream feels so good and smells heavenly. I look and feel I have healthy skin and get lots of compliments at 70 so enjoying this Superfood range.

I've been using Elemis for a couple of years but I just happened to try this a couple of months ago. I'm retired and I have a lot of early morning breakfasts with friends where I don't want to spend extra time making up my face and this has been perfect. I use the super serum elixir, pro collagen SPF and this super food glow as my makeup. It gives a beautiful glow. A bit of lip color and I'm ready to go. Can't say enough good things about this!
