I find it a little bulky to store, but all of that is totally worth it when trying the results! I have made so many natural dried fruits and also done a little in the dried meat arena. Really cool product! I can’t wait to use it more and learn more techniques.

I'm happy that now I can do my own at home. I tried this dehydrator with bananas and strawberries and I'm very pleased with the results. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to receive my first food dehydrator! I absolutely love dried banana chips and beef jerky. I'm so happy I can now make it anytime I get the craving. This dehydrator is so large and roomy. It has 5 different tiers that can all be adjusted to different heights. The controls are very simple and straightforward. You push the on button, select the temperature, and select the time, and that's it! It will start working on its own after everything is set. It's recommended to let it heat up for 30 minutes and then wash the trays before the first use. When you are ready to dehydrate your first batch of food, let it preheat for 5 minutes before adding anything. The included manual has detailed instructions that include anything you could think of from different fruits, veggies, or meats, and has the time and temp recommendation for each. It could not get any easier than this! My first try was dried bananas. I used 4 medium bananas sliced 1/4 inch thick, and it filled up 3 trays. I set the temp at 135 degrees, and I let them dry for 8 hours. They turned out perfect! I can't wait to try beef jerky and dog treats next! I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a dehydrator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elite Gourmet 5 Tier Digital Food Dehydrator was so easy to setup and beginner friendly. The dehydrator has a digital screen where you can adjust the time and temperature. The machine goes from 95 to 158 degrees Fahrenheit and has an adjustable timer that goes up to 48 hours. It has an automatic shutoff once the timer is done. I’ve never owned, nor used a dehydrator before and it was so easy for me to setup and get started. I have already made deer jerky. There’s so many different recipes you can make with this dehydrator. All you have to do is google recipes for dehydrator’s and viola’. I’m also quite sure YouTube also has tutorials for different recipes if needed. It also comes with five stackable trays, which are also adjustable. It’s lightweight and dishwasher safe. Fairly easy cleanup even if you don’t have a dishwasher like me. Just wipe the trays off with a soapy cloth and rinse. The other part of the machine just wipe it down with damp cloth. Overall I am very impressed. I highly recommend this dehydrator. I received this complimentary of Elite Gourmet and Influenster in return for my honest opinion and feedback.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.]  I have never worked with a dehydrator before, but this was super exciting for me because it made jerky and that I wasn’t not expecting. I was certainly pleased with the performance. It takes a bit of time for things to dehydrate appropriately, but it is as functional as any other dehydrator, and for that I think it’s very cool. It does the job and it’s performance Is adequate I will say though that I wish that it accommodated a dish or maybe had a big open space so I could do maybe something a little bit larger instead of being restricted simply to the small dish sized Flatter portions of things I understand the things need to be sort of accommodating for that size in order to dehydrate appropriately but I know that it’s possible to have done something a little bit bigger so that’s kind of a bummer but it does the job for smaller things.

I bought to gala apples peeled them and cut them into 1/4 inches.. set the timer. By the way it was a challenge to figure out the time and temperature. Needs better instructions. After I got all of the preparation done and filled the trays just set the timer and let it do its thing.. well 7 hours later I had sweet dehydration apples. What a fun way to dress up a salad.. I would recommend this product to anyone..

I was only worried for the instructions not the machine itself. I was worried the translations would be difficult to read. I was beyond wrong! The instructions were not only SUPER easy to read but also have several recipes. First cook out of the box was beef jerkey! Machine was easy to use and the jerkey came out PERFECT! No more store bot jerkey for me!

Let me start off by saying I have never owned nor used a dehydrator before. I had so much fun learning how to make beef jerky and fruit in it! The Elite Gourmet Dehydrator comes with 5 large 12.5 trays that are BPA free. It is extremely easy to clean and set up. The BPA free trays are quite large and I will be able to dehydrate a lot of food at one time. The trays are dishwasher safe, which made cleanup even easier. While the dehydrator does come with several recipes, I decided to look my own up. I first made beef jerky and it worked great! It is not too loud, but does sound a bit like the fan on your oven..a quite hum. The trays are large and you can make a lot of dehydrated food in it. I dehydrated the steak for 5 hours and it tasted better than what you would get at the store! The only thing I struggled with a bit was getting the timer to set. I finally figured it out, but the instructions weren’t real clear. I then made dehydrated bananas. They didn’t turn out as well as I expected but this was an error on my end. All in all, this is a great Dehydrator and I am going to have fun making different recipes!

I couldn't be more happy when I opened the package to see the Elite Gourmet Dehydrator had come in so fast. We had just been saying for a couple of weeks that we needed to get a new dehydrator because we had several things we wanted to dehydrate so we're used to using dehydrators we have two different types and brands prior to receiving this gift so, needless to say the dehydrator was put to the test the same day that we received it. We loved the digital function on the dehydrator as well as the multiple levels of racks that we could take out easily. It was no big deal for cleanup and it worked perfectly, I would say that it performed better than what we have been using the cleanup is about the same but the dehydrating seem to go a lot more even and the timing was faster. I do recommend this product we have been enjoying it ever since we've got it we have dehydrated so many things and we've not had any problems or any issues with it.

The machine has 5 stackable trays so I can put different foods on at the same time. The trays are also height adjustable from 8.2 inches to 9.5 inches. Each tray provides 122 square inches of drying space. It is extremely lightweight as well. The dehydrator came with a book that had a chart of items that can be dehydrated, temperature, and times. The machine is quiet and the trays are dishwasher safe. My very first time using the product I tried bananas and apples. It was easy to put the fruit on and set the temperature and time and then walk away. I will say my first time was not a success, as you can see in my pictures, but I will try again. I am impressed with the ease of use and the price. I would buy this and I would suggest to any beginner!
