Ello Hydra 64oz Half Gallon Plastic Jug with Straw

I like the bottle for its size and different carrying options. The straw and drinking area are nice as well since I prefer the silicone and wider drinking area. The one attribute that I wish this bottle had is being leak-proof. I can't always keep it upright, much as I wish I could. Making this bottle leak-proof would make my life so much easier because I could throw it in my bag when I go to work and not worry about it spilling everywhere.

I have now gone through 3 of these. And I am finally giving up on them and going to try a different kind of 64 oz bottle. I really liked the color, size and straw part. Unfortunately, they are cheaply made. I would not recommend. I dropped my first and the entire bottom cracked, and then my second and third have had the handle part completely fall apart. The design is very flawed because the little metal skewer that holds the handle and cover always comes out after a couple of months :( not worth your money

It definitely leaks if it’s on its side. That’s a huge flaw I came back from leaving it in my truck and my entire mat was full of water thankfully it was a plastic winter mat but big fail. And the top sticks a lot making it a pain to get the top off at times.

I love the straw, however the cap that’s supposed to open when you press the button, gets stuck all the time. Overall it’s a great water bottle

Terrible. The straw doesn’t touch the bottom of the bottle so you can never fully sip everything out. Also, tons of condensation with cold water.

Works really well! The numbers did come off but ive had this water bottle for a little over a year now and it’s still in great shape 🫶🏻 all the parts come off easily for cleaning so thats a plus as well !

The spout acquired a lot of mold and there’s really no easy way to clean it.

I have several chronic inflammatory conditions, so I have to make sure I drink the correct amount of water every day. This water bottle has been very helpful for that. I like that it holds a days worth of water so I'm not over or under hydrating. I also like that it has two different handles for carrying and a soft silicone mouthpiece with a cover for hygiene. What I don't like about this water bottle are the times printed on the outside, I feel water should be measured in ounces not hours. This water bottle also leaks if left on its side or upside down, which disappointed me. The rubber grip on the handle has also been peeling off with time. Overall I like this water bottle better than most I've used, but there's definitely room for improvement

Leaks if you don’t have the lid on just right. So annoying because it holds a LOT of water. Also hard to clean because of the angle of the handle/bottom of bottle. It’s nearly impossible to get the scrubby down there.

It leaks very easily. The writing came off within a month (main reason I bought it was the writing) even though I’ve only ever hand washed it.

While I love the size of the bottle that's where it ends. It's leaks very easily & is very hard to clean the smaller compartment of the drinking straw.

I've always loved Ello products, so I was excited to find this one after I lost my smaller Ello bottle to a drainage ditch in a parking lot. This one's cute, but the quality was disappointing. The handle has come off track several times from the weight of the bottle. Thankfully I've been able to pop it back in, but I'm not sure how long it will last without breaking. The bottle also leaks like crazy, which makes it impossible to travel with. I make sure to put the seal ring on securely while completely dry after washing, but it leaks regardless. I try to keep it upright, but it's leaked all over my front seat with the slightest tilt to the side. I filled up to the top this morning, and this is how much leaked onto my seat before I made it to work. The search continues for a leakproof bottle for my commute.

Not bad for the price. Doesn't feel like the highest quality but the mouth piece feels nice to sip out of. I like that the cover can screw on from either side, so the handle lines up for left or right handed holding (hopefully that makes sense). Not leakproof! But that's okay, I just won't lay it on its side. It doesn't leak if I'm carrying it tipped or anything. I know from experience with my kids cups from the brand that the latch on the cover will eventually break.

I like this bottle for keeping my hydration in check while going through chemo. I have two that we bought at a local store. Sadly, one of the bottles was missing the gasket and we didn't know that until it was too late. I've had to repurchase a lid and pay for the shipping as well. I kinda wish there were replacement gaskets available and also available on store shelves so this doesn't have to happen again. Overall though, I do like these bottles.

Take it everywhere with me. I can keep track of how much water consumption I’m getting.

I thought I had found the perfect water bottle that had the time stamps on it. I loved that it had a cover for the mouthpiece and a lock. It fell over in my car many times and never leaked. However, after about a week it just started to leak and will no longer close properly. Now that it leaks, I cannot have it in the car freely. I'm sad because it was perfect until that happened. Because of how fast it stopped working, it's not worth even the sale price of $10.

The first month of having this bottle was okay...then it started leaking. I even got a 2nd bottle and it leaked worst than the last one! They've lost a customer, never again👎

Great value for the price. Second one I’ve purchased.
