Unit arrived pre-assembled and ready for use EXCEPT for the wood platform. The wood platform must be attached by a few wood screws, which are NOT provided. Did NOT fit our chairs. The rear chair legs come to rest on the wheels and will not roll. Worked around by lifting chairs from the front.

We purchased this dolly for our banquet chairs and it's great! But make sure that you measure the height of your chairs. All banquet chairs are not created equal! Some chairs sit higher than others; some chairs have metal bars in the back or the front making the dolly not usable; and some chairs are not as wide as others...do your homework.
