The light is just right not too bright and it only turns on when it's dark and the light are off. The design and color of the car is really nice and matches my sons room .

This plugged in no issues and lit up the area by the wall that it's plugged into. It has a tight outlet hold so I appreciate that aspect of this plug in light. It didn't hurt the eyes to fall asleep to just the perfect downcast of light. My son likes that it is a car for the plate.
