Ridiculous installation and low light
includes double sided tape for installation; but once you stick it on, it cannot be removed to change the batteries. Requires 4 AA batteries, which are pretty expensive now, and are not included with the light. The hook referred to on the package as an alternative way to install, is a little screw. I discovered the screw inside one of the battery compartments. Low light level.

Broken
The on//off button is not working correctly. When I turn it “off” there is still a light on. The only way I can turn this light off is by removing the batteries, which will make the light very inconvenient to use.

No indication of missing batteries
I needed a quick easy light asap. I searched the package to see if I needed to also buy batteries. NO where on the package did it say batteries were not included. I triple checked because I needed to be sure! It’s made by a battery brand so after seeing that there is no mention that there are no batteries included, I thought they must be included since there is no indication that it doesn’t have batteries, so I bought it. Get home, and open it just to find out…there are NO batteries! If there are no batteries WHY not say that on the package!!!! I’m stuck now! I literally can’t leave to find batteries, and so I’m in complete darkness for another night in a row!!!

The functionality is nice where you just tap it, but this is not bright at all. Wish I read the reviews before I bought and opened this thing.

Not so bright
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my closet. Unfortunately the light is not very bright, even with brand new batteries. I love the size of it though and mounting it was super easy. I would suggest two or three to get adequate light for a larger area.

Is this what you really need?
One of the two lights had a malfunctioning on/off switch. Pressing the dome of the light down wouldn’t cause the switch (located inside the dome) to remain on. I unscrewed the light, removed the diffuser, and removed the switch from its slot. After stressing the plastic that allows the switch to remain in the “on” position, I was able to get it working as intended. I also learned that the diffuser (dome) obscures too much light. My closet looks much brighter without it, but the device completely loses its simple elegance.

I bought this to provide light to a small closet (less than 2 feet wide). It provides almost no light and it is still very hard to see. Installation was easy.

It’s a great nightlight option but also great to have on my nightstand in case I need to get up in the middle of the night for the bathroom and can either take it with me or leave it on the nightstand for some light.
