Q: In the event that the LED light should fail and need to be replaced, what are the specifications of the bulbs, and are there instructions in the package of how to replace it?

A: Hello Melanie, thank you for your question. This fixture does not have actual LED bulbs. They are just LED strips, and cannot be replaced if they go out. This does come with a 90 day warranty, and we can simply replace the light if it fails within that time frame, but you should not expect any of the LEDs in this light to go that soon. This is designed to last for many years. The on//off button is not working correctly. When I turn it “off” there is still a light on. The only way I can turn this light off is by removing the batteries, which will make the light very inconvenient to use.

I needed a quick easy light asap. I searched the package to see if I needed to also buy batteries. NO where on the package did it say batteries were not included. I triple checked because I needed to be sure! It’s made by a battery brand so after seeing that there is no mention that there are no batteries included, I thought they must be included since there is no indication that it doesn’t have batteries, so I bought it. Get home, and open it just to find out…there are NO batteries! If there are no batteries WHY not say that on the package!!!! I’m stuck now! I literally can’t leave to find batteries, and so I’m in complete darkness for another night in a row!!!

One of the two lights had a malfunctioning on/off switch. Pressing the dome of the light down wouldn’t cause the switch (located inside the dome) to remain on. I unscrewed the light, removed the diffuser, and removed the switch from its slot. After stressing the plastic that allows the switch to remain in the “on” position, I was able to get it working as intended. I also learned that the diffuser (dome) obscures too much light. My closet looks much brighter without it, but the device completely loses its simple elegance.

I bought this to provide light to a small closet (less than 2 feet wide). It provides almost no light and it is still very hard to see. Installation was easy.

The light is fairly large, making it perfect to light up dark spaces like closets, pantries, underneath cabinets, and many other places. The light uses four AAA, which are not included. The light is very easy to use, all you have to do is press the center to turn the light on, and off. Double sided tape is included to make the light easy to stick onto your surface. The light is bright, but not blinding, making it perfect for my closet. The light is also made for indoor use only. It really does not get more simpler when it comes to a bright light that is so easy to operate. Even though it is made of plastic, it seems to be very well made.

Goes dim extremely fast no matter what beans of AA batteries I used. The backings for the batteries fall off very easy, and the Velcro becomes weak after first (gentle) removal to switch out batteries. Price was good but you get what you pay for.
