I purchased this for the low sugar and high protein it offered. The first time I made I followed directions and used water and fruit. It turned out so thick and wouldn't mix and stuck to the sides of my blender. I had to use a spoon to scrape it away from the sides. The taste was so disgusting. I then tried it with coconut milk and the same results. I finally used less shake mix and more liquid. It helped the texture but the taste was still disgusting. I'm returning it as it's not worth the money I paid for it.

I like this product because I can sweeten it with Stevia or sweet fruit and make it taste different with whatever fruit is available since it has no flavor.

If you are looking for a high quality Protein shake that has vitamins and minerals(most other protein shakes are just protein) that is also low in carbs and sugars...This is IT! This the only Protein, Vitamin, Minerals, Low carb, Low sugar shake I have found. You can add your own sweetener like steiva or whatever. Add fruit if you like. I make mine with one raw egg, some cinnamon, and stevia. It taste great. Plus it is all made from Whole Foods.

I've been making a breakfast shake using Nature's Plus Energy Protein Shake as one of the main ingredients. I feel energized, motivated and alert. The value is good, the product is good and I plan to re-order on a regular basis.

This protein shake is plain, healthy, thick, creamy. Mix it in a blender for smoothest drink, with plenty of water - 8 to 16 oz, because it's thick! It has excellent ingredients, from the mixed proteins to the digestive enzymes. I use fruit in it...blueberries or strawberries are great and help mask the sort of mint-greenish cast it has if you use it plain. It is not sweet AT ALL, only 2 carbs (naturally occurring). This is my go-to shake now, with no artificial colors or sweeteners, no dairy. Beware, though, it is for those truly desiring 'good food', where you doctor it up with cinnamon or fruit. If you want 'sweet', choose Nature's Plus flavored varieties, with fructose and amazing flavors. :)
