When mountaineer and Moose Springs local Easton Lockett sees what looks like a woman on her own in the wilderness, of course he offers to help. When bad weather strikes, putting the film crew at risk, it takes all of Easton's skill to get them back down safely...and to keep River in his arms"--

Book Synopsis

The award-winning author of The Tourist Attraction turns up the charm with this sweet, laugh-out-loud story about:

A grouchy mountaineer

A determined Hollywood starlet

A love-sick marmot

A gorgeous Alaskan wilderness

And a journey neither will ever forget.

Former Hollywood darling River Lane's acting career is tanking fast. Determined to start fresh behind the camera, she agrees to film a documentary about the picturesque small town of Moose Springs, Alaska. The assignment should have been easy, but the quirky locals want nothing to do with River. Well, too bad: River's going to make this film and prove herself, no matter what it takes.

Or what (literal) mountain she has to climb.

Easton Lockett may be a gentle giant, but he knows a thing or two about survival. If he can keep everyone in line, he should be able to get River and her crew up and down Mount Veil in one piece. Turns out that's a big if. The wildlife's wilder than usual, the camera crew's determined to wander off a cliff, and the gorgeous actress is fearless. Falling for River only makes Easton's job tougher, but there's only so long he can hold out against her brilliant smile. When bad weather strikes, putting everyone at risk, it'll take all of Easton's skill to get them back home safely...and convince River she should stay in his arms for good.

"Fresh, fun and romantic."--SARAH MORGAN, USA Today bestselling author for The Tourist Attraction

Sexy Hagrid!

4 out of 5 stars
ShanKL - 4 years ago
How did the grouchy mountaineer, Easton Lockett, become so swoon worthy in Enjoy the View (Moose Springs, Alaska #3)? A "Sexy Hagrid" is the most adorable nickname I have ever heard. This back-country tour guide meets River Lane, a famous actress, who setting out to prove herself a documentarian. after a few lackluster roles. It is all but obvious they are going to hook-up the minute he agrees to help lead the climb up Mt. Veil. You don't read so much as a kiss for pages, as they are constantly interrupted by others in the party and a jealous marmot that has fallen for Easton. Yes I said Marmot - seriously, we all need the love of a marmot in our lives. And, yes I googled a Marmot as being a midwesterner who did not know a marmot existed. This book redeems the series after book 2 fell flat, and the cast of characters are fun and interesting. Enjoy the view is riveting, endearing, funny, sexy and now we all have a new book boyfriend. It was also great to have cameo's from the others in Book 1 and 2. Please someone take me to the Tourist Trap in Alaska.

Super cute addition to the series

4 out of 5 stars
Elizabeth - 4 years ago
This was really cute! River is competent and smart, and Easton has such a great personality. I loved that they bonded over their love of climbing, even if there were some misunderstandings and disagreements. I liked that this one didn’t focus as hard on the hatred of tourists, yes, that’s why she decides to climb the mountain for her documentary, but then most of the time is spent with Easton who doesn’t act like her being a tourist is abhorrent. Definitely loving this series, and hoping there’s more to come! Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for the advanced readers copy. All opinions and thoughts are my own.
