This book-authored from the unique perspective of practicing scientist attorney-explores the environment through the lens of both science and the law. Unlike most other books that only focus on one subject or the other, Environment, Science, and the Law examines the profound impact that environmental laws and regulations have on the planet. This title is understandable and relevant for both non-scientists and scientists, non-lawyers and lawyers, alike. While the focus primarily on the environmental legal system in the United States, it does make frequent forays into the international scientific and legal systems.
Each chapter includes learning outcomes in the beginning and questions at the end for the reader to answer.
