I was looking for a protein bar, that was more savory than the other ones that I had tried. I really like this one. Good texture and filling. Was expecting something that was more like jerky, but was pleasantly surprised.
I still ate it though.

Bought one of these today to try. Just ate it for my post-workout protein snack and just wasn't into it. The cranberry didn't quite hit well with the smokey element of the bacon. However, it was easy to chew which is appreciated as I am a denture wearer. Bison is a leaner meat so that was a plus. The fact it is gluten free is also a positive. Just the over-all flavor combo was a big negative.

Although I love Epic Bars this flavor was not a favorite, it sounded really good but the texture and taste just weren't doing it for me. So if you don't like really sweet beef jerky like bar this isn't for you it was super sweet and soft mushy texture

It'd be tasty without the cranberries, the chunks of bitterly sour dried berries with the bitter umami meat was not a complimentary combination. My husband and I did like how easy to chew the meat was, it was good quality, just one terrible ingredient choice

This exceeded my expectations. It tastes really good and the cranberries sweetness makes it perfect for a snack. I used these at work to keep me not hungry till I get home from work without needing to eat fake and junk carb-based foods.
