Do not buy this product.
Overly dry. Way too much salt and pepper. I’ve eaten a lot of different jerky’s both homage and store bought, considering the price you would pay for this I’d say this is the worse it gets biggest rip off I’ve come across. Do Not Buy.

You took a perfectly good piece of meat and added black pepper to the point of being inedible. Sad.

Great taste but where’s the shelf life?
These taste great and I wish I could give it a higher rating. I got a big box in the mail yesterday and the expiration date is less than a month away. This is the second time this has happened. I can’t eat them that fast. And I forgot how many I had to throw away last time and had the craving for a snack.

Taste is great, extremely hard to bite pieces
I have purchased and enjoyed your Venison bars for years. Whole foods was out, so I grabbed a couple of the strips. I will be returning the ones I didn't open. They are really tough and hard to rip into bite size pieces, and even very hard to chew. But the bars are fantastic.

too spicy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] we like jerky and venison so I wanted to try these. I couldn't tell much on the texture or what meat it was, due to how spicy, it was. the spice blew-up in my mouth. Had to get milk to get rid of the spicy in my mouth. I could not taste the venison or anything else. I would not recommend since I could not tell much on the texture or even tell the meat, due to the spice.

needs more smoke
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried the uncured bacon pork snack strip. I did not taste the smoke in the strip like the others. It had a different taste. I could take the vinegar and slight maple sugar. It was a good size snack strip with 8 g of protein. I could read all the natural ingredients.

Not a good texture
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this Epic beef bar. The name is not representative of the product. It has a spice in it that I can't pin down but know I don't like. The texture is funky as well. It is like a thick dry steak. Has a nice bite to the outside (pop) but the middle is real soft almost a mushy meat. No thanks.

Not a fan
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried this expecting something probably a bit different. To me, it tasted waxy and didn't have a lot of flavor. It seemed extremely processed almost like a poorly made meat stick. I don't believe I would buy this again

Venison beef stick
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start with saying I did like how soft and chewy it was. I don’t like my beef sticks or jerky hard. With that said I didn’t like the taste as their was barley any at all, the after taste left your mouth feeling spicy and a taste I’m not sure about. I didn’t like this product at all. My kids asked to try it and they spit it out and said gross. And yes they eat jerky and venison all the time.

I so wanted Venison
I really like venison and was really hoping to like this but there is so much pepper is just burns my mouth instead. I love salt, onion, garlic, but the pepper content is way too much. I'd prefer the taste of venison and not added spices. I bought two boxes
