Ereley - Diablerie (CD)

"Diablerie" is a concept album and the second full-length album of Ereley. The idea behind the album is that when we come to this world, our soul is pure, we have not done any good or bad things so far. As we go through our lives, we make decisions and those can affect oneself as well as others and cause feelings like happiness, joy, love, sadness, fear or even hate. Therefore, some of those decisions are "light" and some "dark". The album's story is about one of those souls, which made too many dark choices whose soul transitioned from being pure to demonic throughout it's life. As it is a quite dark theme, the music itself became much darker and heavier than on the previous record "Katharsis". Even the vocals changed a bit into a more desperate and angry sound. If the first album felt like flying in the wind like a butterfly, this album is like riding a train which plows through whatever obstacles are in it's way.
