Ordered this for my niece who has been obsessed with the very hungry caterpillar since she was a baby. She loves to play with different textures and the characters and different shapes kept her attention. Definitely intended for older toddlers and would say that my niece was a little young for this (2) but she still really enjoyed the activity!

I love the classic hungry caterpillar theme. It’s my daughter’s favorite book. She was super excited when she saw the box and dived right into play. I love that it’s sensory and no mess play that’s perfect for travel and home play. It’s a great toy that is educational and fun for little ones.

My son LOVES Eric Carle books especially The Hungry Caterpillar so this sensory bin was right up his alley. As with any sensory bin it can get kind of messy so I recommend putting a towel underneath the toy area or use it outside. Overall the entire bin was super cute and fun for my son who enjoys playing with it often.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ok so full disclosure I did not open the sand for photos, but I did once I got the box into my office (had to try and keep it together for traveling there lol). This is a great sand box - I am a school based therapist and this will definitely replace my previous one (as an upgrade). The box is large, substantial, and the items included are pretty good. I think I will end up adding a few more pieces to it but it is for sure a helpful kit to have for my students to play with during sessions. As far as a sensory bin, it is good - I just wish it had a bit more diversity in texture/items to use with the sand box. But overall, it is a great kit.

My son loves to play with it! The material of the fruits are thick foam so no hazard! If you wanna have a sensory bin, you should definitely try this!

They love moving all the figures around and making stamps into the sand. It makes for a great screen free activity and can be easily cleaned up and put away until they are ready to play again. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was so easy to set up, took me less than 2 mins to pour the sand out, add the foam figure and it is ready to go. Literally keep my 2 toddlers entertained for so long which is very rare because toddlers, you know? The very hungry caterpillar is my daughter favorite book so she was very excited to be able to relate to all those items included. I just wish it come with more sand but that is not a big problem at all. I can always buy and add more on my own. I also love that it comes in a plastic container which helps to keep them all together without having to re setup everytime. We can just close the lid and take it back out the next day. So fun
