The Escali Extra Large Display Digital Timer is easy to read at greater distances. Count up or down to a maximum of 99 minutes : 59 seconds. Recall the last timer setting automatically at the touch of a button when performing repetitive tasks. When the timer is not in use the time is displayed in either 12 hour or 24 hour formats. Use the magnetic back to hang the display on a nearby refrigerator, or place it on a countertop using the built-in kickstand.

Q: how do you set the time?

A: Before setting up your clock, please make sure to have your device on "clock mode" instead of "timer mode". If you are on timer mode, press the 'M', 'START/STOP', and 'S' buttons down simultaneously to return to clock mode. While on "clock mode" press and hold down the 'M' button until the hour number flashes. Use the 'S' button to adjust the hour, and then press the 'M' button to confirm. [Now the minutes number will start flashing] Again, use the 'S' button to adjust the minutes, and then press the 'M' button to confirm. Clock set up is now completed.

Piece of junk - 1 year ago
I'd say avoid this item. First, it has a habit of freezing (if you press wrong keys) so that you need to remove and replace the battery to get it working again. Finally--and I haven't had it a real long time, I'd guess a year--the battery terminals broke so that the thing is now simply toast. Plus, other places sell this timer cheaper.

This is a great timer! Large numbers, easy to set. Count down stop watch type function, and you can set minutes and seconds on the timer function. Nice alarm sound with just the right loudness. I love it.

A little clunkier than I thought it would but it gets the job done. It is LOUD even pushing the buttons it's loud. I wouldn't buy it again because it's for a child and she doesn't need any help being noisy lol
