The assessment of verbal memory is an essential component of clinical and neuropsychological evaluations. Essentials of The California Verbal Learning Test offers the guidance needed to effectively administer, score, interpret, and apply the findings of the CVLT3, CVLT-II, and CVLT-C tests. Designed as a hands-on resource, all the chapters include several "Rapid Reference," "Caution," or "Don't Forget" boxes that highlight important points for easy reference and clarification. In addition, a short "Test Yourself" quiz is provided at the end of each chapter to help you review and retrain what you have read.
The authors provide important guidelines and strategies for administrating and interpreting each CVLT test based on the specific client. Throughout the book, the information reflects the most current research on the CVLT products and on verbal memory processes. When using the most recent CVLT editions, evaluators can be confident when applying the results obtained.
