Brand expert
A: I am white and it leaves a white cast on me and my clothes
The Eucerin Sun Advanced Hydration SPF 50 Sunscreen Spray is praised for its moisturizing properties and effective sun protection, making it a favorite among guests with sensitive skin. Many appreciate its non-greasy feel and the absence of a white cast, which is often a concern with sunscreens. However, some guests have experienced issues with the spray nozzle, leading to inconsistent application. Overall, it is a solid choice for those seeking hydration and protection from the sun.

Best value
Love that the spray that comes out is thicker, so I can easily blend it on the skin. But not too thick like regular sunscreen from a bottle. This means I have to spray less and one bottle lasts me longer than copper tone or other brands. No white residue .

Expired when received
Ordered online and product was six months past its expiration date. Unable to submit an issue report online because item is ineligible for return.

Poorly packaged.
I received the product today and have yet to use it. I would like to comment on the packing material used with this shipment. There was none. This increases the likelihood of the product being damaged during the shipping. It should be rapped in packing material to prevent the product from moving around in the box.

Sheer coverage
Nice protection without being greasy or white. I also have super sensitive skin and this is the only sunscreen that does not cause any irritation. I wish they still sold it in our store.

Greasy, hard to spray, white cast
Veryyyy greasy, greasy feeling did not go away and. Made me feel very oily. The nozzle is not consistent, sometimes it shoots out a fine mist then other times it shoots out little globs of sunscreen. Leaves a white cast on my skin and my clothes.

Received Expired Eucerin Sunscreen
Placed an on-line order for Eucerin Advanced Hydration Sunscreen Spreay SPF 60 (6 oz) on 5/30/2025 after not finding it in stock at my local Target. Received product on 6/3/2025 with an expiration date of 12/2024, therefore the product is not a useable sunscreen.

Target, stop selling expired product!
Purchased in store a couple of weeks ago. Didn’t check the expiration date until I was already out of town. It expired 12/2024. I returned it. Every can on the shelf was expired, some as old as 8/24.

GOAT of sunscreen
This sprays on as a foam that you then have to spread on, but I like how after every few hours when you have to re-apply it doesn't start to pill up. I work outside for most of the day and my biggest pet peeve is when sunscreens pill up on your skin. This one doesn't do that and it easy to spread without having a super strong sunscreen smell -still definitely smells like sunscreen a little. Definitely very moisturizing and nice to the skin in addition to being SPF. I wish it was more water-proof and there was a zinc alternative version, but other than that I LOVE it.

Breakouts
Broke me out. I have acne-prone skin and thought this would work for me, but unfortunately it gave me tiny breakouts.

Don't buy this
Does not spray well and it does not feel good on the skin. The spray nozzle gets easily clogged and is messy every time you try and apply the sunscreen. It specifies that you can use it on your face but to spray onto your hands first. I do not recommend you use this on your face, it caused me to break out. Eucerin is a favorite brand of mine but this product is awful and I would recommend it to anyone.

Turns clothes & skin yellow
Turns skin & clothing yellow. I thought it was something else at first, but then after the third day of applying & my clothes turning yellow each day it occurred to me it was the sunscreen. It did a great job of protecting my skin, but wear yellow & be warned. I took it on Ragbrai & would not recommend for athletic clothing as it could ruin certain garments.

Great fragrance-free lightweight formula.
I’m using this for running. I normally go for mineral sunscreen but found that the ones I’ve tried pool on my skin once I start sweating , so I was looking for looking for a “not so bad” and fragrance-free chemical sunscreen and found this combination one. The formula is not great to be applied via spray, since it doesn’t spray evenly and the nozzle clogs up; but it feels lightweight and hydrating once applied on skin and has been effective so far. By the way, regardless of the nozzle working perfectly or not, you ARE supposed to rub in the sunscreen for better protection. So just don’t skip that step.
