All three of my daughters had their skin irritated by this Up&Up brand sunscreen. I think you get what you pay for, unfortunately. I wouldn't risk the cheap brands again.

I used to love the up&up sunscreen, but ever since you switched the packaging from the white can to orange, it's much more difficult to spray. A couple of cans I bought recently won't even spray at all. I won't buy these again.

If I could give this negative stars I would. We have never used a worse sunscreen brand. My son used this sunscreen at the lake with friends and his skin is so burned he has a sunburn injury. His skin is turning purple and splotchy. This should be taken off the market because it’s obviously not safe.

The sunscreen itself was fine. My real issue is with the packaging. The plastic wrap that holds the two together was so strange. Once it was opened up it fragmented and the little pieces stick to EVERYTHING. It’s so hard to get them off and a week later I’m still finding little bits of plastic on my things.

I bought the twin pack of this and a bottle of the lotion version. I love the lotion one, no fragrance, covers nicely, absorbs quickly. It protects my family in Texas heat of 100 plus. Today while swimming, I went to apply this to my kids since they’d reached the 80 min limit of the lotion. The stench was awful. Very perfume like. My husband has asthma and it immediately bothered him. It bothered me as well and I don’t have asthma. It made their grandma sick to her stomach smelling it. I sprayed it first on my daughter who was at the opposite end of the pool and you could smell it clear across the yard. The smell lingered for two hours. This product should be labeled that it contains a fragrance in its description, not just in tiny print on the back of the bottle way at the end of the ingredient list. Do not buy if you are sensitive to scents. I’ll be purchasing the Coppertone spray from now on, that works great and no bad smell.

We moved over to the Sport Sunscreen UP & UP brand years ago because some other name brands gave our children a red, bumpy (though harmless) rash and this one did not. I stocked up, ran out, bought more this year (and stocked up, stupid me) and THIS one now gives them a rash. Something is clearly different beacuse the "white" bottles of previous years are fine, these are not. I'm now stuck with several bottles that they won't use as the rash alarms them, even though it doesn't seem to hurt them. Bummer. No more up & up sunscreen for us after years of faithful use.

The sunscreen is fine, but the can is useless. You need someone to depress the nozzle with the palm of thier hand to get it to work. If you plan to use this if you're alone, you can't.

Easy to apply, but I burned using this for an hour outside (hearty application, especially because I have tattoos). I have a natural slight tan skin tone, and tan very easy in the sun. I used this and walked around outside for an hour, a little sweaty sure but it was only 80 degree weather. My shoulders were crisp, name brand from now on.

I do not recommend this. I had spf 15 from a different brand on my face, and the up and up spf30 on the rest of my body. I rarely get sunburned but it was as if I had worn NOTHING. My face was the only thing that didn’t burn and that was a totally different sunscreen. I almost think there’s something wrong with this bottle of sunscreen!!! A friend of mine used it as well and she got completely burned too. I will never buy a Target brand sunscreen ever again. Not worth the health risk!
