Q: What are the socks made out of? These made my feet break out in a rash, but I’ve always been able to use plain aquaphor in the past? Could it have latex in it?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have extremely dry, cracked skin on my feet. I tried one of these masks for fun. I slipped them on my feet before bed and fell asleep. I woke up in the early morning hours and removed the booties and my feet were so silky smooth. It really amazed me. I’m going to use this product once a week. It worked miracles for my feet.

After all the hype and anticipation, I felt that this foot mask was pretty disappointing. I wasn't expecting a peel but I had used this mask at the tail end of winter and after a few weeks after my last peeling foot mask. I figured this product would be more of a maintenance treatment to KEEP my feet soft in between peels. Initially, right out of the bag, my feet were pretty soft but by the next day they were already roughed up again.

As a mom of small children, I don’t often have free time and when I do I’m doing other things than getting a pedicure. As a result, my feet were so dry they would latch on like Velcro to the insides of any pants I’d try to put on… I saw this and bought it with a cheap pumice-like file. My feet went from Velcro to near-post-pedicure softness overnight! I’m going to forever keep these on hand and give them to every expectant mama at baby showers. I’d recommend: 1) using this after a shower while drying your hair 2) using this as a sock inside of a shoe or sandal if walking around - it’ll help get the lotion all over your foot and you won’t slip 😅 3) using this in combination with a foot file to get ask the dead skin off after the socks have done their trick, then putting the socks back on to get that last bit of lotion 4) doing this at night so you get have time to drink in all that lotion overnight

They are moisturizing but a couple issues. They are difficult to open, there isn’t a clear notch at the ankle part so I had to mess with it for longer than necessary to open the actual sock. Secondly they are too small for men. I have size 12 feet which aren’t small but aren’t enormous and my feet were crammed into these. Men need soft feet too! They need to be slightly bigger.

This worked better than other foot masks I’ve tried, and without any burning. I use thick fuzzy socks on top of the booties to hold it in place, and that seems to work really well, especially if you need to move around for those 10 minutes. This is a really great put mask in between pedicures!
