A: Hi kek94209 - Thanks for asking! To change blade: lay tool on flat hard surface. Hold sides of the head firmly with one hand. Push handle forward with your other hand to release holding plate. I have used callus razors for years and only once in a great while do I cut myself. Using this razor, I cut myself 4 times before giving up. I can only guess that the angle of this callus shaver is different than others I have used and it is too easy to cut deep. I’ll look elsewhere.

Be careful with the razor, you can literally slice a chunk out of your foot !! Otherwise it does what you need it to do.

I started off by soaking my feet in hot water to help soften the callus on my feet for about 20 minutes and begin to use the shaving tool to remove the callus from my big toe and heels, Must use this gently because you will cut yourself. However, the product overall is good and easy to use.

I've had deep cracked heels for years, topical treatments just weren't cutting it, but the shaver attachment completely transformed my feet. The file attachment is not great, I've bought better versions for much cheaper, but the blade is awesome. Use carefully and do a bit each couple days instead of all at once!

My husband works on his feet all day and develops callous. I give his feet a TLC and use this to shave the callous down. This is the only tool I feel comftrable using at home. I've never cut or nicked him with it.

There's a video provided as part of this item's photo array and it would have made sense to give a demonstration on how to assemble the razor part of this thing, but alas no one bothered and the written instructions they've given in the Q&A aren't helpful at all. The attractiveness of this thing is that it has 2-modes-in-1 but without any information about how to piece together the razor functionality, this becomes only a foot file. As a foot file, it's fine. Target could fix the bad reviews (which I didn't see before buying this in store) by adding a video demonstration or even written instructions or a diagram.

I've had cracked skin on my heels for as long as I can I remember and really neglected that part of my feet. I have everything to treat my calluses from foot creams to balms and nothing really did much an effect. This shaver right here was my last resort. It worked pretty well mostly on the dead skin and I was really careful when handling it.

My heels and big toes get very dry and calloused in the warm months since I mainly walk around in bare feet or sandals. I also am going on 3-months postpartum with my second baby, and my feet were feeling the effects from carrying the extra weight. I just bought this recently because my right foot was cracked enough to be painful. I took a shower and used this tool after getting out. I slowly and carefully went over my problem areas and made sure not too go too deep. It worked great and helped remove the build up of dry skin. I followed-up this treatment with a foot ointment, and my callouses feel so much better! This product is worth it if you have severely dry feet. It makes a great addition to my family's medical box.

This is amazing but I recommend doing a little each day instead of trying to get all the dead skin off at once so you don’t end up with sore heels.
