  • A: We don’t use coconut-derived ingredients in most of our sun care products, but we do use Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil in our SPF 15 Tanning Oil and Browning Lotion, as well as in many of our Hair Care products.     Pricey but I love Sun Bum sunscreen spray

    Could be priced like $10 for the size instead of $19 lol, but I love the non-greasiness of this sunscreen spray and how sun protective it is against sun burns and age spots.

    Spray Malfunction

    I have purchased Sun Bum in the past and really liked their products. I bought a new can of the sunscreen spray before going to the lake on July 4. We got to the lake and I tried to spray on the sunscreen. It did not come out as a spray (like what I’ve used before) but poured down the sides of the can making a huge mess. I thought maybe it was because it was new so I tried it several more times during the day. Each time another mess down the sides of the can. I ended up wiping it off the sides of the can and rubbing it on my body. The good news is that I didn’t get a sunburn, but the bad news is I have a can that makes a huge mess and does not work as intended.

    Overall, the product does what it is supposed to do. I prefer other brands over this one (for the spray on sunscreen). This is far more sticky than other brands.     This is my favorite sunscreen ever. It smells so nice without being intense. The texture is not too thick or thin, and it doesn’t leave a shiny residue. It is full coverage without feeling sticky. I use it for work, home, vacation. . . you name it. . . Sun Bum does the job. :) This sun screen has even become my parter’s preference just from being around me using it.

    No better than store brand sunscreen

    Don’t be fooled by the clever advertising. This sunscreen is no better than a cheap store brand spf 50. Check the ingredients and you will see that it is just as toxic.
