Purpose

Purpose: Sunscreen.

Uses

Helps prevent sunburn., If used as directed with other sun protection measures, (see directions) decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.

Stop use and ask a doctor if

rash occurs.

For use

For external use only

Keep out of reach

If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center immediately.

Do not use

on damaged or broken skin.

When using

keep out of eyes. Rinse with water to remove.

Directions

Apply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply: after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating; immediately after towel drying; at least every 2 hours. Skin Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a broad spectrum SFP value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 am - 2 pm; wear long-sleeved shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses.

    DO NOT BUY! This FACE sunscreen will get into your eyes and you will regret it. Burning, watering, can’t even open your eyes. Just water will make it worse. It takes 3 face washes and multiple rounds of allergy eye drops to improve.

    Extremely expensive for a 3oz bottle

    Extremely expensive! I wasn't paying attention at checkout and didn't realize that I paid $16 for 3oz of sunscreen until I got home and had already used it. the standard 6oz size is about the same price so I don't understand the pricing here. Lesson learned.

    Warning - New Formula BURNS EYES

    As a long time Sun Bum user, I used this sunscreen for ages. I switched to another product briefly and when I bought another tube of this I had a rude awakening. It set my eyes on FIRE. Painful burning, very red. I thought I was going to have to go to the eye doctor. I hate that I can no longer trust Sun Bum for my face :(

    Good stuff

    Being older, I need better skin protection and Sun Bum does a good job. Goes on easy and is absorbed quickly. Also, since it's made for the face, I don't get any burning of the eyes or bad taste if I inadvertently get it in my mouth.

    I haven’t tried a ton of lotions with sunscreen as I only learned the importance in the last few years, and I’ve only tried drugstore brands - but of the ones I’ve tried, this sits best under my makeup. It’s thin and liquidy and absorbs well. Not thick or greasy at all. It has never pilled and my makeup doesn’t move. It hasn’t caused any issues for me either. Good value for a daily staple.

    I’ve never used this brand before, but I like this sunscreen. My skin breaks out very easily and it’s been oilier recently. I tried several “noncomedogenic” sunscreens, and I even checked all of the ingredients, and they broke me out badly for the past two months. Sunbum is light and it absorbs well and it doesn’t contain any comedogenic ingredients. And it’s affordable. The bottle is a little small, but it works and that’s all I care about.     Not safe around eyes

    Similar to other reviews, do NOT get this in your eyes. As a sunscreen, works as intended but when I started to sweat, some product had got into my eyes and I couldn't open them until I could flush them out. Even afterwards, I has crazy light sensitivity for a few hours and had to wear sunglasses inside
