How to Use:

Q: There is conflicting information about this product. Is it really oxybenzone free? It is advertised as not containing oxybenzone. Under specifications for this product it states that the active ingredient is oxybenzone.

Q: I see that this product needs to be shaken before application. Does this sunscreen come out as a spray onto the skin or is it a lotion that is easily controllable?

Q: Is this sunscreen reef safe?
A: Hi there, Tcamp! Thank you for reaching out about our Anthelios Sunscreen SPF 60. Since 2016, all new La Roche-Posay Anthelios sunscreens have been formulated without oxybenzone. Additionally, La Roche-Posay has already begun the process to reformulate the rest of our sunscreens to meet the new limitations set by the State of Hawaii, which went into effect starting in 2021. Q: What is the shelf life of the sunscreen?

Our products have been tested to have at least a 3-year shelf life if unopened and stored at normal room temperature, during which they will retain their integrity and perform as expected. Q: The alcohol denatured is very high up in the ingredients list. Isn't this going to irritate my very sensitive skin?
