A: Hi Missy, Great question! Because you don't need the water resistance, I would instead recommend the Daily Defense from our Go! Collection (also here at Target, linked below!). It's lightweight, soothing and offers skincare benefits including blue light + pollution protection as well. It does what it is supposed to do, does not sit on top of my skin but soaks in, is not greasy or smelly. I have tried many other brands, and this is the one I like the most. It is effective and reasonably priced.

Another one I love from Solara! I ran out of the daily defense and bought this one. I was a little nervous because I love the daily defense so much. However this one is just as good! I do love that this one is 50 SPF also that it doesn’t run into my eyes when I sweat. It is still light and applies very well.

Usually mineral sunscreen is 30 SPF. I really like that this face sunscreen is 50 SPF and uses a mineral formula. I also really like that it is unscented. That works better for my sensitive skin.

Just ordered this and took it to France on vacation. I wore it everyday and loved how lightweight it is, as well as live that it has protection of SPF 50. I actually used it on my neck, chest, shoulders and back... it requires a bit of running in but then seems to melt right in. Five stars!

I really wish I could love it. I really want to love zinc sunscreens for my face but I just really don’t. It goes on white and I have to rub really hard to make it blend in. If I ever have dry skin from using a retinoid, it kind of like peels the skin and is super obvious. My pores look/feel clogged immediately after putting it on. And I just spend the entire time I’m wearing it wishing I could wash it off. I do love that it’s made from clean ingredients and has no fragrance/scent.

Bought this to use on my summer runs, but found it too thick and heavy. Very uncomfortable to wear when exercising/sweating.Also was very hard to remove, I had to wash my face with cleanser twice to remove it all.Also bought Guardian Angel sunscreen, which was another miss for me. Reviewed that separately.Overall did not like either product and would return them, but they do not refund opened/used items.
So happy with this purchase.

The sunscreen doesn't feel pleasant on the skin. It's thick and pasty. It's definitely sweat- and waterproof, though. I will say that only fair-skinned people with cool undertones will be able to wear this without a white cast. I'm fair with neutral leaning warm undertones, and this completely washed me out.

I used this on a recent two week trip to Hawaii. I waited a bit before putting on my pressed powder foundation and it worked great. I loved how it blended in quickly and didn’t leave my face white or sticky and it kept my skin well protected. Very impressed with this product line and am anxious to try more.

i impulsively splurged on this sunscreen after forgetting my usual and ended up loving it! i’m pale so i didn’t have to worry about white cast, it’s not greasy at all, and even smelled nice due to the cherry extract, which is usually not something i get in fragrance-free sensitive skin products. i’ve worn it over a dozen times now and it hasn’t broken out my super oily skin, so i consider it a win! unfortunately i probably won’t be repurchasing due to the price, but for those who can afford it i highly recommend!

I used to use Goop sunscreen but I didn’t like that my version was chemical based, I know they have a mineral version as well but I thought I’d give this a try. This sunscreen has a reasonable price point for such a great quality, clean product. I apply after washing my face and most of the time I don’t even apply a moisturizer under the sunscreen as it provides enough hydration . I have worn a light moisturizer under the sunscreen tho I just let it dry first and there was no problem, maybe a tiny bit more of additional shine later on but nothing major. This is my go to this summer , won’t catch me without it ! Also wanted to add that I have a medium-light skin tone and it blends in very easily for me. The white cast blends out so just rub it in well.
