CETAPHIL Everyday Sunscreen Tinted Face Lotion SPF 40 is a lightweight, 100% mineral UVA/UVB filter sunscreen for daily use on even the most sensitive skin. The broad spectrum SPF 40 formula creates a physical shield to block harmful UVA and UVB rays to help prevent sunburn and decrease the risk of skin cancer and early signs of aging due to sun exposure. This tinted formula blends seamlessly with a variety of skin tones and immediately neutralizes the look of redness to visibly even skin tone. Formulated with Vitamin E to help defend skin from surface free radicals, Allantoin to help soothe skin, and Licorice Root to help reduce visible redness. I love it and but wished it was made for different skin tone with a variety of shades. They have a one/unique tone that can make it tricky to use for someone with a darker skin tone like me. Overalls, it’s made of natural ingredients, will combine to the skin if blended thoroughly and properly. I’d say not to put too much and add a darker foundation if using makeup so it doesn’t turn out ashy.

This is a Five star product as far as it feels nice (if not a tad drying) on the skin, has high SPF, and is a true mineral sunscreen without the "hidden" chemical filters. HOWEVER, the tint absolutely ruins this otherwise excellent product. It is too dark for my skin, and as it is a tad drying, because of the tint you can see where it settles and creases in the fine lines around my eyes. If a company is going to tint a sunscreen, at least go to the trouble of making a range of shades. I would rather deal with a slight white cast and put my own foundation over it than deal with a tint that is a noticeable mismatch for my skin tone. A shame because otherwise this is a very nice mineral formula that I would love to own.

I like this sunscreen— it doesn’t burn my eyes, it has enough coverage to knock my melasma back a little without looking heavy, and while I don’t wear foundation with it, my other products apply over it nicely. My only problem with it is that it’s simply too dark for my fair complexion. I found that if I mix it with another sunscreen (I’ve been using ELF Whoa Glow), I can make it work with results I like, but I would certainly prefer not to have to buy two separate products. I wish Cetaphil would expand the shade range a little!

This is the first facial sunscreen I like since my previous one from a different brand was discontinued. I do not get pimples or dry spots when using this sunscreen. However, the pump stopped working after maybe 5 uses and there is no way to open the container without cutting it open.

At first I did not like the application, seemed greasy but once it absorbs it’s an amazing sunscreen, blurs my pores, stays put all day at work, I can wear a stick blush over it, wears amazingly. I have sensitive acne prone skin and did not break out. The tint is more of a neutral medium once it oxidizes so I can only wear once I’m tanned or on forehead and cheeks as a bronzer. I love it it is not chalky. Reminds me of a Paula’s choice sunscreen.

This lotion has a lovely texture, it’s thick and rich without being heavy or oily. I love how it covers my redness and evens out my skin tone. The only thing I don’t like is the color, it’s too light to where makes my medium Asian skin tone too white, my face color doesn’t match my brown arms. I have to use bronzing drops underneath the sunscreen to get more color. If you can make a medium version of this tinted sunscreen, you’d have a customer for life. I also love the upside down pump, I’m a sucker for good packaging.

Solid 5 stars for this sunscreen. I found this tinted mineral sunscreen and I’m so so happy! I use it over my moisturizer and my skin feels hydrated and looks glowy. It does not feel greasy or oily. I personally prefer a matte finish, so I apply a minimal amount of translucent powder on top. But other than translucent powder, I basically don’t apply any more make up. Stays on pretty smoothly throughout the day. I even reapplied in the afternoon, and it still looked good. It doesn’t accentuate any fine lines. And it matched my skin color very well. I did have a small area on my face that was a bit red and irritated (for a different reason unrelated to this sunscreen), this tinted sunscreen did neutralize and hide the redness. An overall winner. So happy!

This is the perfect everyday moisturizer with mineral sunscreen! I have really sensitive combination skin that is prone to redness and this doesn't cause any irritation or redness at all. It feels light, creamy, and hydrating. I'm now using this every morning. After cleansing, I apply a light argan oil serum for dryness, and then layer this on top. I've stopped applying makeup afterward because I love the very light coverage this provides and I don't feel like I need anything else. This is basically the holy grail of face moisturizers for me. Love it!

Wanted to like this but the tint was juuuust too dark/orange for my skin—made me look just a little off, I had to return it. Too bad, otherwise the formula seemed good!! Please make this in a variety of skin tones! The tint coverage was definitely too opaque to consider this a universal product.
