Uses helps prevent sunburn if used as directed with other sun protection measures (see Directions), decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun

Directions

Directions shake or knead before each use apply generously and evenly to face and neck 15 minutes before sun exposure reapply: after 40 minutes of swimming or sweating immediately after towel drying at least every 2 hours Sun Protection Measures. Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease the risk, regularly use a sunscreen with a Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: limit time in the sun, especially from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. wear long-sleeve shirts, pants, hats, and sunglasses children under 6 months: Ask a doctor

  • A: I just bought this product recently and it specifically says on the packaging that this product is NOT water resistant and to where a water resistant sunscreen if swimming or sweating.

  • A: Yes - we do formulate to be pregnancy + sensitive skin safe, avoiding 2,000+ ingredients deemed to be disruptive to our bodies or skin, or are banned by the stricter EU standards. That said, because there is no official 3rd party test or "seal" for us to officially claim pregnancy safe, we always recommend first asking your physician's advice -- but we have won awards from trusted outlets like "The Bump" :-) and certainly hope Solara will be a fit for you!

    The only sunscreen I can use

    Light and non greasy!

I still get some color, but not a sunburn. I have sensitive skin and have not experienced any skin issues. Love this product!

    This is my favorite sunscreen. I am a stage III melanoma survivor. This is a true mineral sunscreen with none of the harmful chemicals that many other brands contain. Go! Daily Defense is truly soothing, gentle and moisturizing and it makes a good makeup base. I usually have 3 bottles, one in my purse, one in my makeup table and one near the front door so I don't forget it. I have been cancer free for 10 years now and Solara provides me with confidence and security.

This is the product I’ve been looking for! Upon application, there appears to be a slight white cast but this goes away after sitting for a few minutes. The product wears well on my skin and doesn’t feel too heavy. Will buy again and would recommend.

    Loved it, but it didn't work for me

I have extremely sensitive skin and wanted to try this out while my usual face sunscreen is out of stock. I hope it works for lots of others because it's a great product!

After reading about the dangers of chemical sunscreens, a deep dive pointed me in Solara's direction. It's pricey, but light and the white cast pretty much disappears. My new summertime best friend!

    We ordered several of your products including Clean Freak. I don't see a a request to rate it so I'm doing it here. This product is not worth buying. it is watery or too thick to squeeze out. If that's the way it's designed it is a waste of money. If it has sat and separated, please send me another tube.

    [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Solara sunblock does everything I wanted it to do. It has a wonderful feel on my skin. I use it on my face, chest & arms. It quickly absorbs and leaves a moisturized feel without stickiness, smearing or coming off on my collar. It works well with two of my face makeups, one glossy and one matte. I wish it came in a larger container so I would use it on my legs too, with a price less than purchasing two small bottles which I did. I very much like the delivery of the sunblock, with press button delivery. Tubes are hard for me with arthritis in my hands. I highly recommend this product.

    So sad this didn't work for my rosacea-prone skin. :(

    This is a GREAT product for most people, that's why the 3 stars- non-toxic, no niacinamide, no hyaluronic acid- none of the things that usually bother my sensitive face. I was so excited to find it! Alas, twas not to be. I still got red, and on day 2, I had a bit of a break out. I'm a pretty sensitive case, though, so most people should be just fine. We love the body superfruit sunscreen and it will always have a place in my beachbag, but the search continues for a face sunscreen. Thanks Solara, for making such great products!
