For full protection, apply liberally (2mg/cm? of skin) to exposed skin 15 minutes before sun exposure, then rub in to reduce whitening effect. Reapply: After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating Immediately after towel drying. At least every 2 hours Sun Protection Measures: Spending time in the sun increases your risk of skin cancer and early skin aging. To decrease this risk, regularly use a sunscreen with Broad Spectrum SPF value of 15 or higher and other sun protection measures including: Limit time in the sun, especially from 10am-2pm. This sunscreen stick is stiff and is hard to put on. After 2 weeks I kept using it and broke it in and now it’s soft. I only use this around my eyes bc it’s the only sunscreen I can use around my eyes without burning. The key is to keep using it until it softens up. I gave it 4 stars for the good ingredients. But will leave white cast. If you suffer from sunscreen burning eyes put this around your eyes first before using other sunscreens

Did not like this product at all! I know mineral sunscreens will always have a hint of white cast to them, but this was too much even for my pale skin! I had to rub the product in which leaves it to no point in it being a sunscreen stick (so we can re-apply hands free). And even rubbed in, still left a noticeable white cast. It also has a strong clay like scent smell which lingered for hours which my pregnant self did not like at all. Will be returning.

The overly dry texture made this very hard to apply. The reason I use stick sunscreen is for getting it on kids' faces with ease. This sunscreen pulls on the skin.

If you are used to using main stream SPF this will take some getting used to. It does not run smooth over skin so I found best to apply by rubbing fingers over stick then applying to skin esp around the eyes to prevent tugging. It smells like cocoa butter and did not irritate. It is difficult to remove so I suggest an oil based cleanser first to loosen then wash residue off. If you react to every SPF this is worth a try for those with sensitive skin like me. Derm recommended because it is so basic.

A little background: I have fair skin, am allergic to most sunscreens, have a history of melanoma, and was going to Hawaii for a week. At home I wear hats with wide brims, and sun protective clothing, which I also used in Hawaii, but it's hard to keep a wide brimmed hat on when snorkeling and playing in the waves. This was a free item I received when I purchased the Badger Clear Zinc (which I also used). I especially like the sport stick for my face and neck. It isn't as thick and pastey, it spread easily, and most importantly, I didn't get sunburned and no rash!

Unfortunately, it had a *really* funky smell when I opened it. Almost like a wet dog smell. Wasn't able to use it more than once because of it. I love Badger products, but this one wasn't for me. PS is this non comedogenic? Cocoa butter, an ingredient listed, is highly comedogenic.

This stick is great when you don't want to bring a whole tube/bottle of sunscreen or your hands are dirty but you need a little touch-up on high sweat spots or places you might have missed: nose during a hike, top of legs during kayaking, back of neck while working outside, etc.

Sunscreen sticks are such a foreign concept to me but they're required for my daycare. The sunblock is undeniably good. What I'd like to see is the sunscreen come in a biodegradable package such as cardboard and in a larger quantity.

I have used many sunscreens over the years. I'm glad to find one environmentally friendly and works great! Just rub it in and it won't look white. We all used it in Hawaii in June when the sun is at it's most intense. No one got burned or even pink. This compares to using a typical sunscreen stick with less intense sun and my daughter still gets pink on her face. I will absolutely purchase again.

Good ingredients, terrible to apply. Too thick, did not melt on skin -- rather, it dragged across it. If you don't mind the zinc experience, I'd try babo's version instead - I tried it and while it was very whitening, it was cosmetically elegant in terms of texture. Similarly good ingredients. i tend to have a problem over applying sunscreen which can leave my skin too white but with this all season face stick, it eventually rubs in clear, especially with how much i can sweat in the summer time. I can see myself using thus everyday regardless of the whether as it's really good for ur skin.

I used to love this sunscreen (and the tangerine/vanilla one too). I didn't mind that it was thick and somewhat white. Bought another not realizing they switched to nano zinc. Not healthy! Also making my lips chapped. So disappointed. Why the switch Badger?

Very easy to use, I've never used stick sunscreen, however its better than regular. The application is durable and lasting against perspiration. Its very efficient as sun protection.
