Q: does it leave a white cast?

A: Hi There! Depending on the formulation, chemical sunscreens may be easier to rub into the skin and are less likely to leave a white cast. Like mineral sunscreens, chemical sunscreens should also be applied 15 minutes before sun exposure, to effectively protect your skin from UV rays.

This is the clearest sunscreen I have ever used. As someone with a tan, Many sunscreens make me look unnatural. However, this holy grail stick barely leaves a white cast and doesn’t need to be blended in.

Love that this was a convenient way to apply or supplement sun protection in my active job—I could quickly hit the backs of my hands, neck and t-zone without getting my hands sticky. I was able to leave it in the door of my work vehicle so it was always convenient, and it didn’t melt at all. Will definitely buy again,

I wanted to love this. My fav sunscreen stick has been out of stock for a few months so I thought I would give this a try. It’s about 1/3 of the price so I hope it worked well. It says invisible on the container but it is not. It leaves a bright white cast. Also, with the other stick you use it on your face like deodorant and your done. With this stick you have to rub it in which is silly. The whole point is to not have to rub in, and even when you rub in it leaves a white cast. I would not recommend.

Mineral sunscreens utilize titanium and/or zinc oxide particles to form a barrier that reflects the sun's rays away from the skin. Because the ingredients stay on the surface of your skin, a white cast can sometimes remain after applying the product. We suggest applying a small amount in the palm of your hands and rubbing them together. Then, apply to one small area at a time, rubbing well. The formula should apply easily leaving a lightweight, non-greasy feel. Keep in mind, all sunscreens should be applied liberally for sun protection. However, if you are looking to try an alternative product, we recommend using the Hydrating Mineral Sheer Tint Sunscreen https://tinyurl.com/yffedyzx.
