I didn’t see the reviews on the app itself until after I had trouble connecting the app to the cooler. The app never connected. It does give cool air, but only if you’re right in front of it. It did not cool down the room and it’s also a humidifier.

A nice "smart" connected device, with a useful app for controls and customization. The app supports multiple evaSMART devices, which is good, as I own two in my home. I can pre-cool my home office from elsewhere in the home before I move into the space for the day's work. Nice for hot (or projected to be hot) days!

This thing is awesome. A miniature swamp cooler. Who’d a thought? I travel in my van regularly. I thought I would try the Evapolar before investing in an expensive air conditioner. It works perfectly, runs on my USB port and saved me over a thousand dollars
