Wendy Wax has written many children's books, including City Witch, Country Switch; Even Firefighters Go to the Potty; Clara the Klutz; Bus to Booville; and Even Princesses Go to the Potty. Wendy is also an editor and collage artist. Naomi Wax has taught creative writing in after-school programs at the Fieldston and Ethical Culture Schools. She is co author of Cool Women: the Thinking Girl's Guide to the Hippest Women in History, which was adapted for the WE Network by Debbie Allen. She lives in New York City. Stephen Gilpin graduated from the NYC School of Visual Arts where he studied painting and cartooning. He is the illustrator of the Who Shrunk Daniel Funk series and The Extraordinary Adventures of Ordinary Boy series. Stephen currently lives in Hiawatha, Kansas. Best Boys Potty Training Book!
My son absolutely loves this potty training book. I thought it only starred the firefighter as shown on the cover but I was pleasantly surprised to read through and see other people like doctors, athletes, engineers, construction workers, etc also use the potty. Girls may like this book as well but it seems to cater more towards boys.

Personally, I enjoy reading books that rhyme & my kids enjoy it more too. This book doesn’t rhyme so it doesn’t really grab their attention.

A little quirky, but my son loved it!
I am used to potty books using children to teach the idea, this used cartoon images of community figures (fire fighter, police officer, construction worker, etc). My husband and I were laughing at the pictures, but my son was very engaged!

Very cute book!!
I bought this book for my niece to go along with her brand new potty. Her dad is a Milwaukee firefighter and so I couldn't resist buying this book... She hasn't begun potty training yet but LOVES to be read to and loves flipping the flaps. Overall, a really cute book!!
