Q: I dearly want several of this product, but am shocked to see it described as being 7 inches high! The photos, look like 1-1/2 inch to 2 inches high. Please verify the true specifications.

Q: Is there a coating or varnish on it or is pure bamboo? Ours came in the mail and the bottom of the tray looks shinier.
