  • A: Unless you purchased an ACCIDENTAL plan (they never even mentioned there were different plans), your plan is a STANDARD plan and only extends the manufacturer's warranty which covers the following: Mechanical and electrical failures from normal use which are not covered during the manufacturer’s warranty (typically one year) and thereafter.

  • A: Hello N Mills, Registration is purely optional and has to be completed online Squaretrade website. We need a copy of the purchase receipt at the time of filing a claim on your item. Whenever you have the time, you can easily upload the copy of the receipt online on your account. So that when you want to file a claim, it's already online and there are no delays. It means that the warranty can be purchased within the 30 days after buying a product not before. The purchase window to get a SquareTrade protection plan is 30 days from your item purchase date.
