Q: Is the product’s total height from the fixture 10.25” or will the fixture from the ceiling add additional hanging distance for a higher total product height?

A: Hi RJ -- thank you for reaching out! The shade height measures 7.5’’ while the 10.25’’ is the total height measurement that includes the hang from the ceiling mount and the ceiling mount itself.

Great Boob-Light Upgrade!
We bought two of these fixtures for our primary closet to replace one-light boob lights and are loving the upgrade! They appeared larger than we were expecting, but once up, still felt proportional, even in a small room with 8' ceilings. When lit, the shade does make the lighting VERY warm, so we put slightly cooler bulbs in to offset and "match" the rest of lighting temperature in our home. Shade and fixture mountings were all plum and well-fitted!

Broken prongs upon arrival
Very pretty, but when it arrived one of the top prongs was broken off in the box. I see there’s another review on here with the same issue which leads me to believe this fixture may not be very well made. It’s very pretty so I’m going to try ordering another one. If the new one comes undamaged, I will update my review.

Unfortunately one of the metal prongs on top of the light, holding the shade, broke off immediately upon unboxing. Leads me to think that it’s made quite cheaply which makes me sad since it’s quite a bit of money. Not willing to reinvest in the same piece honestly.

Love this light fixture
I love this light fixture! It has really upgraded our bedroom from our previous light fixture. It’s great quality and looks high end. The gold/brass hardware is my favorite detail. It has a neutral vibe and would truly look good in any space. It was very easy to install.

Modern ceiling light
This is a nice semi-flush mount light. It has a modern look thanks to the fabric shade and brushed gold finish. The shade blocks a fair amount of light. I would put this in a room that didn’t need a lot of additional light. My room faces north and could use something brighter. I removed the bottom cover and it made a huge difference.

Beautiful ceiling light
My front entrance needs a newer, better looking ceiling light and this Semi-Flush Mount Ceiling Light by Hearth & Hand with Magnolia is perfect! It’s big and beautiful. The gold canopy and oatmeal colored fabric look so good and both match the decor throughout my home. The instructions are very easy to read and I thought I would be able to mount it myself. Unfortunately my ceilings are too high and I had to get my brother to do it. I’m not sure if I’m actually going to keep the canopy (it’s removable). I like it bright and I feel like the canopy is not needed.

Beautiful light!
This light is beautiful! Well made and looks high end. The bottom of the drum is removable so if you want more light, you can simply remove it. It requires two light bulbs so it gives off a lot of light! It adds so much warmth to our space. And bonus, it was really easy to install.
