I have never seen a Christmas cactus plushie before so when I saw this one I had to grab it for my boys. They love plants and they love stuffies so this one is perfect. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cactuses at our house have always been a joke. My 10 month old loves the feeling of softness in her mouth and squeezes it tight. My 2 yrs old sees the pink and green colors and thinks it’s play food. The FAO Schwarz - Toy Plush Plant Golden Ball Cactus 7inch washes very well and has not shrunk in the dryer., it was an accident. No lose threads so far and no dangerous parts of concern.

My Toddler's New Best Friend

My wife however is so excited with it and thinks it looks great on our mantle as a decorative element that is bright and fun, and doesn't require watering. Stitching is well done and the shape is sturdy that when squashed and cuddled, it will return back to its original shape and sit flat again. The shiny elements on the pot add a fun element of pop without being glitter that falls off and leaves a trail everywhere.
