Do not buy.
My husband took the drone outside to test it before giving it to our son. The remote stopped working almost immediately and my husband was unable to stop the drone or engage the emergency stop. The drone ended up lost in a neighbor’s yard before my son even got to touch it. Customer service was useless.

disappointed that "emergency stop" button didn't work.
My son got this as a Christmas gift and we just got around to using it this weekend. He was having fun flying around outside and then brought it in to show me what he could do with it. He accidentally flew it right into my head and it got tangled in my hair. The "emergency stop" button on the remote did not work, so I had to blindly fumble with it trying to find the power button on the actual drone as it continued to spin and suck up more hair. I ended up needing to cut it out. Kid rates it 10/10, Mom rates it -12/10. Dad is now in charge of drone excursions.

Do not buy. Remote doesnt always work.
This drone was good, til the remote wouldn't work anymore. It started flying outside, then got too high and it wouldn't return to us. It is now gone forever somewhere at the park. Probably the bottom of the pond. 😡

Stay Away from FAO Schwarz
This worked for a day, now it won't charge, and it won't fly up for more than just a second. I contacted the company to ask for help, but they said I was 2 wks outside of their 30 day warranty guarantee, so they said tough luck. I bought it before Christmas, didnt even open it until Christmas, so what a waste. Horrible. Stay away from FAO Schwarz!

Little one has had a blast with this!
My 8 year old wanted a drone for Christmas. This is the one we got. She has had a blast with it. It is easy for her to operate on her own. It seems to be pretty durable as it’s hit the wall and ceiling several times and hasn’t affected its performance. The lights are fun and an added bonus. It is a little loud for using indoor but I’m not sure it can withstand the wind outside. Shouldn’t need to be said but I’ll say it anyway… keep away from hair… it will 100% suck it up and need to be cut out. My 11 year old also enjoys flying it. The battery doesn’t last too long.. maybe 20 minutes ?? But with the noise, I don’t mind it because it gives me a break!

Batter life
My 6 year old loves this. But he gets so frustrated with the battery life. Fully charged it lasts like 10 minutes. We’ve literally had it for 10 days. Such a shame.

This item was cool for the two days it worked. Very short battery life, so that was disappointing but my kids still had fun with it. At one point, one of the fans/propellers accidentally got caught in my daughter’s hair. Now that one propeller side won’t lift off despite removing the hair. Such a disappointment.

Battery life
Gave this to my son for Christmas. He likes the flips and lights. It didn’t take him long to learn to control it. The battery life is terrible. We charge it all day, over night. And it gives us 5-10 mins of play before it starts chirping about the low battery. Really wanted to love this. But it has been disappointing.

Do not buy!
Do not buy. This worked once on Christmas Day and that’s it. Ran out of power so we charged but it wouldn’t turn back on after that. Had a very disappointed 8yo. Beware of high ratings now…a lot of these five star reviews were apart of a promotion 🙄 this toy is a true lemon.
