FAO Schwarz Toy Plush Sustainable Bear 10"

This inexpensive bear is partially made with used plastic, but you'd never know unless you read the tags--it's very soft, well-made, and just the right size for hugging. There's an FAO Schwarz badge sewn onto the white area of one foot. Usually I wouldn't want to buy anything sporting a logo, but overall, it's the sweetest, most traditional, least expensive bear I've found. Maybe my friend who will receive this cutie will cover that foot pad with something else, but you never know--it might not bother her.

My 7 year old did point out this manatee has gills and that in real life manatees don't have gills. This is a high quality toy and would make a great gift for anyone.

When I saw this manatee plushy, I knew I had to have it. I don’t care that I’m an adult; I love having a few stuffed animals around as cozy little accents in my home. It’s not so large that it gets in the way but not so small that it should just sit on a shelf. This one makes a great neck or lumbar pillow, too, due to the unique shape. I sit and sleep like a pretzel, so oddly shaped pillows and plushies like this are comfortable little support wedges for me. This one is adorable and eco-friendly which I appreciate. It’s soft and squishy to the touch but not flimsy. It has plenty of stuffing and seems to be well made. I’m pleased that it’s not filled with beads. It feels durable enough to withhold being occasionally stolen and stowed away by my Great Dane.
