Lid comes off with ease if taken off correctly

Pan great and lid is perfect. If you want to come off easily just put pressure down with palm of hand in the center of lid and lift edges. Comes off like a dream.

Great Pan…awful lid

I bought this pan 3 years ago. Pan is great. The lid is a challenge to say the least. Even the men in our family struggle to get the lid off. Crazy!

Use a butter knife, use a butter knife-are you kidding me? You're seriously telling customers to pry the lid off with a knife? Why not, better than breaking your fingers, sure no other company suggests using a knife to knife to open a lid, but you did.

Great pan, terrible lid design

We bought 2 of these pans to replace an older one we had that had a lid that had a handle built into it that allowed air to get into the pan, drying out whatever was in it. Well this pan is great, and the lid seals wonderfully. But the lid is next to impossible for anyone in my family to remove. I wish there was an easier way to get into the pan other then using a butter knife, because I really do not want my daughter using a knife to get into it. Maybe form a handle into the top of it or a ridge on the corners to help remove it.

Disappointed

I bought this pan because I wanted a 13 x 9 cake pan with a lid. The pan is very nice and I have used Farberware for years. However, the first time I used it the lid cracked as I tried to remove it which defeated my purpose for buying it. Is it possible to get a new lid that works. I believe the plastic tabs that holds the lid on are to big, making it impossible to remove easily.

Cannot get kid off

I have arthritis and I wish I remembered where I purchased this from. I cannot get the lid off of this product. I do not use the lid. I use foil to cover it. I honestly hoped I could get a replacement lid. I love the pan but I cannot get the lid off at all. Please help

Thank you for reaching out to us and we apologize for any inconvenience. To remove the lid from your Farberware bakeware we suggest using a butter knife very carefully on the corner of the pan. By using the butter knife to pry one corner will allow the other corners to release. Contact us at 1-800-809-7166 if the suggestion does not work.
