Terrible do not buy
This is the worst grinder I’ve ever had in all my years of making espresso and coffee and that high price tag it should be working perfectly. It creates too much static so there is coffee grinds all over the place always. When you move the machine gently coffee grinds from the inside fall out. When you clean the machine tons of coffee grounds left over inside fallout wasting coffee. I reported this to fellow and they told me that I need to use water on a spoon in my beans to reduce the static. I have been doing this since July and there is still static and coffee grinds everywhere. This is the most annoying and expensive coffee grinder I’ve ever experienced. Do not buy this machine. Terrible customer service. I’ve reported this to fellow within the warranty, and they refused to take my machine back. a waste of money.

Amazing grind
This is my first foray into you have more higher end grinders. I didn't know what to expect, I'm still learning, but the difference between this and the 5200 grinders I've had in the past is ridiculous. The quality of the grind, consistency, etc. It's all super impressive and has affected the quality of my coffee in clear ways. I've oscillated for months about buying it and wish I had purchased it when I first read about it.

This grinder requires a tremendous amount of attention and TLC. It clogs regularly so you must clean it at least once a week. It’s incredibly sensitive to the touch and requires constant cleaning of coffee grinds that spray around or drop out of the machine. I don’t really see the value given the price.

DONT do it!
Dont do it. Gets clogged every time for no reason. Your kitchen will be an explosion of coffee grinds and beans, leading to frustration and mess everywhere. Worse, you think its unclogged and you plug it in again for another go, and no grinds come out, leading you to start the process over again. The bottom is unaccessible easily- so you have to use a tiny toothpick to unclog. Parts do not unscrew for cleaning. The outside bur grinder has a little handle that breaks each time you try to lift that part out. Very very unhappy, and I have other FELLOW products.

Ok grinder but really bad retention levels
The grinder works well but I have only used it maybe a dozen times and it's already retained so much coffee that it completely jammed and I had to disassemble it and clear it out.

PERFECTO!
This grinder is the Rolls Royce of grinders. I bought it in white. It matches my decor perfectly. It isn't too loud. I put it on 5.5 to grind my beans for my V60. My coffee tastes sooooo good. The consistency of the grind is apparent in the taste. LOVE IT!

Beautiful grind
Love this grinder, the settings inside the lid, the measuring portions in the lid. It’s not too noisy and aesthetically pleasing. Plus the grind is perfection. Not so great: it’s pretty big, and it is messy. Every time I pull the cup out, even if I tap the side of the machine, grinds still come out after the fact and go everywhere.

So glad we bought this grinder! Runs the gamut. Fine tuning is way simpler and easier than some reviewers made it out to be and the perfect fit on the lid has worked out as a simple bellows to correct any retention. Seriously for the price just buy it.

Frustrating Performance
The grinder has great features, looks, value, but it retains grinds every single time. This is a major frustration when grinding for espresso which requires very specific dosing measurements. Given that this grinder is marketed for espresso, it is a major consideration before purchasing.

Poor product would not recommend
I bought this product, and it worked only one time. I went through all of the trouble shooting and it still is not working. I have sent a request for a replacement, and I have yet to hear from Fellow.

so far so good, I've used my Ode for Aeropress and Toddy cold brew. Consistent grind size and the cup catching the grounds I also use as an indicator to pause the grinding so that I don't burn the beans!
