Q: Is the depth being measured by the top that flares out or is it based off the depth at bottom?
A: Depth at the bottom. I bought this thinking two could easily fit in my 24 inch space. No way. The tops are about 14 inches wide and can only fit one per shelf instead of two. QUITE disappointed.

Q: Is 14" the height or the width? It says height in specifications but I'm wondering if it's actually the width.

Q: The 2 size options shown are 10.5x14, and 14x15. Is that referring to the length and width or Width and height?
