The texture is very crispy and crunchy — light & airy, melts somewhat in the mouth but can be hard / brittle. Scent is sweet & fruity, like original Spree candies, though somewhat muted compared to chewy or regular versions. Effectiveness: it satisfies a craving for candy with more crunch; good when you want snack novelty. But some feel it sacrifices chew and flavor depth for texture. Value: the price is above regular Spree; many think it’s okay for a treat, but not something to buy often due to cost vs quantity.

If you’re a fan of Sprees and like other freeze dried candies, you’ll love these freeze dried Sprees. The only negative is the price for the amount, but otherwise these are so good.

Yum! These were great. Exactly what you’d expect for a freeze dried Spree. Only wish would be just a little cheaper on price. But I realize that is on par for most comparable freeze dried candy.

It was a great mix between the hard, crunchy outer shell and the crispy and puffed inside. This was my first time having freezed dried candies before and it was a great experience. Only complaint was the flavour, they just tasted like sugar would have loved for the yellow to taste like lemon and green green apple.
