I have 4 of these in my home that accent our new sofa bar. I'm not sure what rubber wood is exactly but these are some solid bar stools. Very sturdy and stable. Seem to be well constructed and they were easy to assemble.

Purchased 3 and met expectations. They are comfortable and look better than they do online. Only downside is that the foot rest on all 3 wiggle regardless of how tight they are screwed in with out cracking the units.
